Raven vs Soleil

Soo i was about to start building Soleil but was lementing the cost of giving her Slaying edge. Then i looked at Basilikos, wow so strong but LnD pigion holes him to player phase, and in general i hate this skill, it just moves stats not adding any. Would it be so crazy to refine just as +spd?! I almost thought that when i did it originaly, but i had to try his unique, rip dew.

Then i looked at stats, same spd as Soleil, 2 less atk, 2 less def, 3 less res, 4 more hp. So only 3 less bst thanx to a higher mt weapon, and 1 higher bulk for single engage. so he is veeery close in power level and could make comparable use of distant counter.

I mean you could refine Basilikos to be +Spd if you’re opting for more of a duelist build

You can refine his weapon to have LnD and then just give him Fury, that way the Res and def penalty would only be -2. On the side note, he can get +8 to both Attack and Speed which is just crazy.

Exactly how he should be built. +8/+8 offensive spread for just a measly -2/-2 defensive spread is LnD on steroids.

Ye with his high hp. Hes good at baiting to set up

I already have him built+1 with LnD3 and Deathblow3 +atk -res glimmer S rank w Nowi both w Infantry pulse.
He walks up to blues, activates a 70atk glimmer and they explode! No need for more spd hehe. Its for sure fun and amazing to one shot +10 defence build nowis but the problem is mobility, its so much better to bait it this game for melee. He has a hard time safely getting in and out wo a dancer.

What does he have for B-slot? If he can one-shot on the first attack consistently, you can use drag back/hit and run so he can be moved away easier with a positional skill.

i have QR 2 now thanx to the Klien and Hawkeye. i will give him Draw back now... Im looking at arena use, so its a low score skill. He can score close to Sheena using heavy blade to proc Aether thanxs to i pulse!
My point was mainly that “zomg dc Soleil is good” and that Raven can be comparable but we just fixate on his LnD upgrade.

Give him Galeforce with a Heavy Blade seal. He already has enough damage and with Galeforce he just destorys someone and then gets out, or goes on a murder spree if two enemies are isolated. I really love my Raven(+Atk, -Def).

But it is also situational and drag back can do a similar job. It wont proc vs wary fighter (Effie very common) or mages. He has more trouble getting in than out in a lot of situations i find.

Idk its prety hard to justify replacing Soren on my Arena core and i have a Dorcas that can do the job i want in other modes, but i dont find him that good he just dies to doubles all the time why is he rated 5?

why not just go double LnD3 and give him vantage or windsweep? other then broken dragons, mages healers and archers normally dont have what it takes to retaliate or survive a hit. i dont use fury3 unless i have a method of healing via renewal, healer, noontime/sol/aether. raven not the best bait tanker anyways and has more power on player phase. has enough spd to stop ayra or mia from doubling(prob wont survive a hit anyways) but in GHB or BHB we dunno how much boosted spd they may have. and with more units who have broken atk stats(taking about M grima and LA hector -.-) raven wont survive one hit either way with fury LnD. its just a matter of time and every 6 damage he takes makes im that much more easier to 1 shot.
