Raven vs Linus

In a few days i'll have enough feathers to upgrade someone and i was pointing towards either Raven or the new hero Linus. They have a very similar stat line (especially with my Raven that's +Atk -Res) and i wanted to build them in a similar way (might change something on Raven's side): Raven would become a literal glass cannon while Linus would be more of a "I'll beat this motherfucker and then you are next" thanks to Galeforce (i have a very bad IV o.g. Lyn that i really don' feel bad about losing). Since they both seems promising, what do you guys think? Linus i'm not sure i'm gonna merge the two copies cause Brazen Atk/Spd 3 seems very good as for Raven he doesn't appear that often to me so merging might be a bit hard to do (i dunno why but the image looks wrong at first, at least for me. Just click on it to show the real one)

I like Linus more than Raven, but Raven is probably the better choice because he has more merge potential.

Excluding merges, however, I'd say Linus is probably better because he's bulkier, allowing him to actually take a few hits... well, depending on the build, anyway.

You can actually see the build i'm planning for them if you click on the image. The preview is screwed up i think cause i see two Y!Tiki from another post that i did a few dasy ago

Linus has a good bulk on the physical side. I wouldn't put the +eff basilikos refined on him.
Basilikos +def or +spd is way better. Fury is actually pretty good on him. Brazen atk / spd or brazen atk / def is not bad at all. Galeforce is interesting.

Whereas good old raven is way better in a smash'n run way. LND 6 is playable on him as his bulk is pretty bad

I'd be interested to test how these two builds play differently, but I don't have the resources to do it myself.

For myself, to differentiate the roles I'd probably take the L&D refine on Raven but def or spd on Linus as Orcslicer suggested; he can actually take a hit or possibly even two. I'm surprised you went with desperation on Linus and not on Raven; my inclination is to give it to Raven because he's the glass cannon. Same with galeforce - Raven is natively faster and goes the L&D route more naturally, so he can be faster without having to activate brazen.

Funny glitch with the Tiki images, funny because it doesn't prevent us from actually being able to view your builds.

I have bot, Linus and Raven.
Linus is clearly superior for me. Much better defense. Raven is so cannon, he die so fast. Linus can even tank physical attacks and still be a monser with his refiniement and vantaje and Brazen attack and speed. Also his burst is higher than Raven one. You can make him +2 right know. In a few months you will can +5 him or close. But if you have to wait to summon lot of Raven... good luck.
