Rate my Oboro

This Oboro is something i started working on today. Since i pulled a 4* Shigure with perfect IVs (+Spd -Res) i decided to use my 5* one to inherit his weapon to someone and since i brought Oboro up to 5* today i though she might be a good user of it. As of yet i miss a lot of stuff like the weapon refine, Reposition, and all of the passives (aside from Fortress Def where i need only the level 3 and the seal is still level 1). Anyway as soon as i get all stuff that she needs i won't think twice before giving it to her. She's +Def -Res by the way

She relies too heavily on specials. She'd basically be like Felicia before she got her weapon, only she can't de-buff more than one stat.

It's certainly an interesting build, though, as long as you have other units to deal with mages, or Guard.

Oh i have mage tanks (Looking at you Julius and Michaiah), so i don't really have a trouble with that

Need either a Slaying Lance+ +Def or Steady Breath to trigger Ignis consistently. Otherwise, solid for a semi-budget build.

Well her main focus isn't triggering Ignis as much as possible, but act as a physical wall that freaking annihilates who faces her when she trigger said special. As for SB, never pulled a B!Ike so... yeah

Then you are missing out on a lot of KO potential, but ok. She can be both a wall and ORKO at least swords if not lances.

I mean, sometime you gotta bait those physical units in a map. Why not doing it with someone with over 50 def?

Why not ORKO them in the meantime by just changing 1 piece of equipment and still taking very little damage?

Not ORKOing them leaves you open to Wings of Mercy traps. I should know. I ran one with my Eldigan for Reinhardt to WoM in and finish a unit. That kind of trap can be answered if you can kill the sword unit within the round. It's really important if you want to get to upper tiers of arena.

I think you should either use Bonfire or Slaying Lance since she won't be able to ko the enemy even in enemy phase, not even reds as she won't proc her special and has only 40 atk

I'm using her to be a physical wall. Like, blocking physical threats off while mages make death rain on the enemy team

It will bring you problems if you character can't ko your enemy, like WoM activations or special procs, I'd say that Bonfire will work way better than Ignis, also if your special doesn't proc Armonic Lance will be useless

Tbh the only reason to use her over lukas is that she has....ok res in comparison. So id recommend +def -spd and close def sacred seal. That way shell have a serviceable 30 res that will allow her to take on dragons in a pinch. As well as giving her all the def she usually gets on enemy phase without the atk drawback.

Also....harmonic lance would be better with bonfire. Or slaying lance with ignis. Unless your trying to save you special to nuke something in player phase or something.

Still recomend close def tho. Its only a diff of 47 and 51 ignis dmg on player phase

Steady Breath > Fortress Def when you get it
