Rate my Armor Emblem
Can you guys please rate my Armor Emblem team? It's the first "competitive" team I've built, and it would be nice to get tips from more experienced players. I'm a F2P player, so I'm still trying to get some powerful fodder like Brave Ike and Nephenee. Anyways, here it goes:
Robin, Festive Tactician
HP 50 / ATK 49 / SPD 34 / DEF 42 / RES 22
IV: +DEF/-RES
Wp: Tannenboom!+ (+DEF)
As: Reciprocal Aid
Sp: Bonfire
PA: Brazen ATK/SPD 3
PB: Quick Riposte 2
PC: Armor March 3
SS: Close DEF 2
Sheena, Princess of Gra
HP 50 / ATK 41 / SPD 22 / DEF 48 / RES 33
IV: +DEF/-SPD
Wp: Slaying Axe+ (+DEF)
As: Pivot
Sp: Ignis
PA: Fortress DEF 3
PB: Quick Riposte 3
PC: Ward Armor
SS: Deflect Magic 2
Black Knight, Sinister General
HP 48 / ATK 50 / SPD 34 / DEF 35 / RES 18
IV: Neutral
Wp: Alondite
As: Pivot
Sp: Black Luna
PA: Steady Stance 3
PB: Vantage 3
PC: Ward Armor
SS: Distant DEF 2
Hector, Just Here to Fight
HP 53 / ATK 54 / SPD 18 / DEF 40 / RES 24
IV: +HP/-SPD
Wp: Berserk Armads
As: Swap
Sp: Ignis
PA: Distant Counter
PB: Wary Fighter 3
PC: Ward Armor
SS: Quickened Pulse
I have 6 more Sheenas to merge with my current one, is it worth it? I know I'll definitely merge LA Hector if I manage to pull a +ATK/-SPD one. Thanks in advance!

Yeah, I decided to go on the defensive path, so the whole team can tank pretty much anything as long as I have good positioning. Initially I was going to balance out the buffs between Ward and Goad, but then I realized it would be better to just go full tank to make use of my Armored Unit's huge bulk. It also makes Ignis and Bonfire even more scary, so a good defense ends up becoming a good offense as well! haha
I really appreciate the feedback. This team is consistently getting me 550+ points in Arena Defense since I've finished building it. I just love it!

If you got a Zephiel, investing in that man would be a lot more beneficial than BK. My friend refined Zeph’s weapon and put a DC on him, as well as the DD seal, and basically he can tank anything, even some blue mages. Especially since he has Wary Fighter already. I meant to say something sooner, but you know. I got a little side-tracked.

Avoid merging units with distant counter if you're ftp. As it is, other than close counter it's the only a skill worth 300sp. Meaning it will boost your arena rating and is generally a valuable skill. Trust me, as ftp that fodder is the most valuable you can get.
Don't invest too heavily in black knight. He's a fantastic unit, but his merge potential holds him back immensely.
Sheena can definitely benefit from merges. She hasn't fallen on the tier chart since day one due to her high bst, tankiness, and availability. But don't merge until it will push you to the next tier.

Yeah, I'll probably use regular Hector as DC fodder when I manage to pull one, but if I manage to get a perfect IV for LA Hector I think it's still worth it to merge. Superboon + HP and DEF boost is just overkill for this juggernaut of a unit.
Regarding Black Knight, yeah, I think I agree. It's better to hold the investment for an eventual Zelgius, right?
And regarding Sheena's merges: how do I know when the merge is going to push me to the next tier? I know the Arena matchmaking is gonna put me against way stronger teams if I start to merge my units, but I don't know exactly how this works and when it's worth it to start merging.
Anyways, I really appreciate the help (:

Zelgius or whomever really. I use draug +10 and I'm consistently in the top 200 for arena assault. His availability makes him top notch.
Arena changes often . Thanks to Nowi I'm 180 for this season in tier 20. But you should be able to gauge your tier a lot better than I can. She will yield the greatest amount of points for your team as merged weigh the heaviest when it comes to scoring.
With the arena change, the matchups have actually been weaker, so I wouldn't worry too much about fighting harder players. At tier 20, you're getting a thousand more feathers per season, which adds up quickly. So it's worth setting your sights on it.

For being your first armor emblem team, it looks pretty stacked.
Sheena is definitely worthy of multiple merges, and she would do well if you can get a Hector to give her DC.
I’m by no means an armor emblem expert, so my advice may get shot down fast, but a few things you can do to make the team better:
-maybe run a quad ward. You have 4 solid walls. That extra +4 will make it better.
-if you have steady breath/bold fighter fodder at some time, give them to black knight. He would become a vicious killer with the QR3 seal.
Beyond that, and maxing your seals used, you look pretty good for a first team.

Thanks! haha
A Sheena with DC would be really cool, but at the same time the Fortress Def 3 just makes her plain ridiculous, not even reds manage to do meaningful damage to her! But yeah, with her huge RES she can easily bait mages. Tough choice!
Quad Ward is definitely an interesting possibility. I'll test it!
Steady Breath + Wrath 3 combo would be really OP on Black Knight, but I'm kinda skeptical. Maybe waiting until I pull a Zelgius would be a better choice?

The most important hero in armor emblem in w.lissa/Sheena. W.Lisa is a spit better than Sheena, but obviously sheena is much cheaper to 5-10. If you can, 5-10 her, shes best tank in game with w.lissa in terms of their color, and stats.
You def. will need DC on her, and DD is for her as well. You want either +def or res and -speed sheena. Slayer Axe refine either def or res based on your boon. Whatever your boon is, do the opposite on refine.
Special i run bonfire to basically kill most mage and range guys in one round. You dont want range guys to survive an attack. Melee guys arent as bad.
