Rate my arena team

I'm ftp, and usually I bounce between teirs 18-20 in the arena. With bst impacting scores, and the current meta, can someone please rate my team? Thanks
1. Ike +hp -def
Heavy blade
Quick riposte
Hone speed
Reposition
Aether
2. Camus +2 (whenever his grand hero battle returns)
Fury 3
Quick riposte
Hone attack
3. Nino (4 star +10, +speed -hp with a hp seal)
Gronnblade (not the + version)
Fury 3
Desperation
No sure about her c skill
Ardent sacrifice
Moonbow
4. (Bonus hero)
P.S. would a five star Nowi be a better alternative to Camus? I don't have one yet but is there anything better about her than Camus other than a higher bst?

She can function as a better check to red units with TA thanks to her higher resistance. QR allows her to double everyone while her HP is high. Since your Camus has QR, the only real thing going for Nowi is her ability to take much less damage from red mages. The issue is that red mages (from what I've personally experienced in the arena) are few and far in between.

Giving Camus his default special over Bonfire/Ignis/Moonbow would give a few more points. Aether on Nino would also give more points. Of course, these specials won't actually be used in arena combat because of their high cooldowns.

If you have Delthea, she's Ike's best friend. Giving him +6 atk allows him to proc heavy blade more. Nino's full potential is when you have a Renais twin.

Here I go, I will rate your team according to my criterias. But as you can see, it's difficult to rate the effectiveness of a team without knowing the 4th units, but here are the min-max and detailed ratings.

TEAM RATING = 7,63 to 14,37 /20
(min-max rating, depending on the 4th unit)
Individual effectiveness = 10,25 to 15,25 /20
Units' kit synergy (support interactions) = 4 to 9 /15
Team's offensive coverage = 10 to 14 /16
Team's defensive coverage = 7 to 11 /16
Arena weight = 5 to 11 /20
Matching weight counters = 0 to 8 /8
(it's unknown, since we don't know the exact arena weight score)

IKE RATING = 3,5 /5
Unit's tier : S-tier = 5/5
Unit's IV : uneffective = -1
(since it affects the stat-line, it affects the unit tier : +1 being perfect IVs, 0 Good, -1 the rest)
Unit's build : very unoptimal = 1/5
Unit's BST : Infantry = 3/5
SP Total : 2595 = 5/5
(+1/5 every 120pts past 1825)
Legendary Wp wielder : Yes = 1/1

CAMUS RATING = 3,75 /5
Unit's tier : S-tier = 5/5
Unit's IV invalid = +0
Unit's build : optimal = 5/5 (assuming his Sp is Bonfire)
Unit's BST : Cavalry = 2/5
SP Total : 2085 = 2/5
Legendary Wp wielder : Yes = 1/1

NINO RATING = 3 /5
Unit's tier : S-tier = 5/5
Unit's IV = +1 (given, although -def is better than -hp)
Unit's build : optimal = 5/5 (assuming a supportive C-skill)
Unit's BST : Infantry mage = 1/5
SP Total : 1825 = 0/5
Legendary Wp wielder : No = 0/1

PS : The 2 criterias that I could add are Unit's merge (which affect the arena weight by 1 per merge, so it would be rated X/10) and the Unit's rarity (from 5* exclusive to 3&4 stars exclusive, so it would be rated X/2) but it's not totally sure weither or not it affects Arena weight.

Sorry I just want to disagree for the ike. You said build very unoptimal.
That is very wrong. QP works pretty good on him especially with heavy blade and aether allowing him to get his special very often and heal back a huge amount of HP.

I want to ask you what critery do you use to define a build efficiency ?
If you refer to what they said on this site his build is pretty optimal. And even if you think there is other build it would not deserve 1/5.

I know Ike's IVs aren't good, and reposition could be replaced with recipricol aid, but the reason I need hone speed is for buffing nino (I've never gotten Eirika or Ephraim). Other than that, in thinking quick riposte makes him a better bait and kill unit. Aside from not having vantage as a b skill and something like threaten attack on Ike, is there a way to improve him?

Report

Don't be sorry, Moshi, I knew I had some feedback about the Ike rating. In fact, I keep my words, it's very unoptimal.

IKE (+HP ; -DEF) :
45hp / 49atk / 31spd / 29def / 18res
W: Ragnel / Su: Reposition / Sp: Aether
A: Heavy Blade / B: QR / C: Hone Spd

So first why is it "very unoptimal" ?

1) 49atk is way too low to proc Heavy Blade efficiently
Basically it can only prok on support units such as buffers (which will stick at the back before getting baited) or the few people who still use Quad-builds (high spd & abov-average atk thx to L&D) so they will still be sticking at the back, requiring a bait.
HOWEVER -Def IVs will make it challenging to tank even a double-hits from those.

2) Aether, while rocketing the SP total through the roof, is a very unoptimal Special, since it's very unlikely to activate. It requires a same unit to play in 6 different actions (Heavy Blade can reduce it to 4 but as we said, it's unlikely to happen).

3) In fact, Ike will still get OS by any Red&Blue mages, most likely any Blue physical too (meta: TA Azura, Fury high-BST units, Distant counter Effie). So Ike will only coverage Green units and only A FEW swordusers since Spd lords will 2HKO him, Bravesword lords will ORKO him (-Def vs +Atk brave = rip) , and low lords will have Swordbreakers... so this Ike is doomed.

4) QR baited supportive units that won't 2HKO Ike or Green units that Ike would have ORKO with Fury anyways.

IN A NUTSHELL :

This Ike (S-tier unit remember?) is actually so poorly built that he can only handle 1/3 of the units he should be dominating (basically, only green units, no more Red, no more blue, meta-wise).

So an optimal build for Ike, and especially for this one which have a bigger HP pool (so it benefits better from Spd, Atk and suffer less from poke-dmg) with lower Def (which injure his Red and Grey match-ups) is :

A: Fury / B: Swordbreaker / C: Threaten Spd or Def

PS: I didn't mention the C-skill, but Hone Spd, even to buff Nino, is an unoptimal option, since it puts placement condition on Ike which is supposed to be flexible to bait ennemies (even more with QR right?). However, if one wanted to stick to Heavy Blade even with this IV set, he should be equiped with Threaten Atk. So either way, Hone Spd is an other very unoptimal choice. And Reposition is the only thing that scored a point (remember 1/5) because it actually unable Ike to not be totally useless with his Hone Spd and QR (against unoptimally built ennemies).
