Is it just me or does Flying Olivia's design a bit weird? Specifically, the pants. That's not how pants work >< I mean, fanservice is a thing, but come on, that just looks ridiculous

Yeah, it's pretty dumb, now that you mention it. It's not even subtle.
They made her so pretty and femenine in the face I kind of ignored it.

It's like they're trying to be subtle, but failed at it, HARD. Should've either just gave her normal, sexy-ish pants, or no pants at all. This half-pants, half-nothing thing is just weird

To be fair, her outfit is kind of like that in canon. They just added that little strap extension in the front that most certainly does not cover what it is supposed to.

PA!Olivia outfit is more canonical and is much better than flying Olivia

It's so she can pee without taking off her pants while she's flying high in the air on her pegasus, utility functional clothing

Well, dancer clothes are hardly ever that logical, I think the idea is to have freedom of movement, especially on pegasus.

Well, I mean, most of the pegs wear short skirts for freedom of movement, and it looks way better than.. whatever Olivia is wearing, AND it would also be dancer-friendly, so to speak

It must be the art director from Fates and his thigh fetish that's back. They would make sense as a dancer but not so much a Pegasus Knight. Another question is why is her accessory an eye patch?

Because it's such an alluring eye patch.

Bear in mind, like her pants, there is a gaping hole in the middle of her eye patch.

I mean, she's basically in her underwear anyway.

But give her a bit of credit. ;-) She's wearing more clothing this time around than she ever has before. It takes practice (I guess).

Have you seen the rest of her sets of clothes? She's always wearing clothes like that, literally. It's what she does. I'm astounded you noticed this now XD

And I don't find it weird. I'd find it weird if someone like Lucina did this, but this is Olivia, this is how she dresses.

My biggest problem is that those clothes do not fit her personality. She doesn't want people looking at her (unless she's lost in her dance) so let's wear revealing clothing! It's like those anxiety dogs... I don't like drawing attention so lets bring an animal to places they aren't normally allowed... Makes no sense to me, but whatever works I guess.

You know what I find weird? Is wearing clothes like that while you're riding a mount. No matter who you are. Like, it's gotta be extremely uncomfortable to be sitting in a saddle on that. Chafing? Blisters?

I guess her thighs would just develop weirdly placed callouses after a while.

It always bothered me with summer units too, only worse. Like, imagine if they were wet and sandy. God, it would hurt so bad.

Just did some reading on saddle sores and I learned that some people lubricate the "affected area" with petroleum jelly to reduce saddle friction while riding horses. That must be how she manages.

I'm not surprised because of her clothes, she's Olivia, of course the fanservice is gonna be crazy on her. The one thing I'm surprised is that her clothes just looked so impractical and redundant. Like "Oh let's give her pants that has a giant gaping hole in the middle, thus rendering the pants redundant!!". It just looks too weird. I do find it sexy tho, but it's still impractical, especially when riding a horse. Her thighs gonna be on fire, literally.

Those pants are hot. I can see Bella Hadid or Kendall Jenner rocking those.
