Quick advice on the Legendary Banner. Please help?

Sniping for a particular unit is mathematically a bad idea on any banner with so many focus units, but when legendary heroes are involved we don't have much choice. The closest we have to avoiding it is something like L.Ike + L.Eirika, which is promised for January iirc.

People who don't understand how focus rates get split between units get fooled by "8%" and they get disappointed and call it bait. Actually, they're kind of right. It's a ploy to pick on uninformed players. Informed players won't fall for it and they will know when to bite, but uninformed players will get baited on bad offers.

But if you want to pull for L.Lucina, this is not a terrible opportunity. B.Hector is great as a unit and as fodder; S.Cordelia isn't too bad either. Legendaries don't appear outside 8% banners, so it's hard to get good offers for them compared to other units, who appear on VG banners and "units with ____ skills" banners and etc. Stick to blues unless you like 3/3 on another colour as well. You might need 200-250 orbs just going for blues, and if you run especially bad that won't be enough.

If you decide to try to wait for a better opportunity (which I might), you're waiting probably 3-4 months (we'll see once the banner releases) for her to reappear with:
- another legendary, possibly someone new
- possible permanent pool units include Kliff, M.Azurcorrin, and possibly a late Quan
- possible seasonals include HF Ryoma and H.Niles

If your willing to roll for her and collect merges then it probably worth it, but I would only spare one hundred forty (minimum) to two hundred orbs (maximum). In the best case scenario you acquire her early you should stop summoning and use the rest of orbs the next time she re-runs on a better legendary banner.

If you want L!Lucina and only her, just snipe blue orbs. I did on her original banner but be warned, it took me over 600 orbs to get 1 of her (I went a little nuts) with 7 Ishtar, 6 Azura and 2 L!Ryoma got in the way. That said, if you want her, the blue pitybreakers are good units so it's a good time to go for her, just set an orb limit for yourself.
