Questions about Ogma IVs/Build advice

So I really wanted to build an Ogma since the update to his rarity is out and he's a bit easier to obtain, a few disclaimers about the build is that it will be 5* +10 merged, I don't want to invest an enormous amount into him-stuff like exclusive skills or weapons and I will not be summoner supporting him as I have that reserved for another unit I'm building.
As it stands I have a +ATK -RES Ogma at 4* which is probably the optimal IVs, but I do want to run a Fury+Desperation set and seeing how the numbers work the quickest way to have Ogma in Desperation range is to have him -HP
SO I wanted to know if this really matters, if there's a better IV to run on a set like this, or even a better build I could be shooting for, other skills are up in the air, I'd prefer him to have Armorsmasher+ as is because the team in mind would struggle against them. Thanks!

first i think you should take a speed refine or a def refine on your armorshmasher because armor emblem doesn't use a lot of buff except for the bladetome sets but that's my opinion.

If you're building him as an armor counter, then yeah +Atk is better over +Spd, and -HP works to your goal of getting into Desperation range. Everything else looks pretty standard, although +Def refine might be worth looking into over Nullify Armor, as the majority of armor teams run Goad/Ward over Hone/Fortify, but it can be a mixed bag.

Refining into +Def is valid as his defense with no buffs is respectable, I do want the end result to have a +Atk IV just deciding what stat to drop with it, between -HP for Desperation and -Res for slightly more physical bulk. I can always change out the weapon refine if I see one kind of armor more than the other, besides that thank you
