Question on Gunter.

So I lost a bet with my friend when I said that Forrest would be on the Children of Fates banner. I said I would 5* my Gunter and I am a man of my word. So.... how the heck do I make Gunter useful? (I know he is a worse Frederick, but I'm desperate) Note: I do actually like Gunter, so I want to build him when I make him a 5*

Do you have a +ATK one?

If so, then run a safe Brave Axe+ and Death Blow 3 build; Trust me. It works better on Gunter than you might think it would.

Go on the offense? I was thinking of going for a Green-Eldigan build. He seems to have very similar stats to Eldigan when you get +Atk -Spd. If offense is better, I will have no problem running it, but his niche lies in his defense, so im thinking a Slaying Axe/QR set could work on him. What do you think?

If you don't have a +atk, he can run an Emerald Axe decently well.

You can always go for the standard Brave Axe + Bonfire build. He's hella slow, so (cost depending) you can get him QR/DC as well... He gets pretty substantial defense, so you can build around that.

You got me there... I was thinking cavalry range + Brave Axe, but I'm used to Olwen/Rein/Xander/etc... good HE units.

Slaying axe is definitely better, good call

Thanks for helping out..... now the real challenge is going to be running him on non-horse emblem (my only Cavalry unit is Brave Lyn)
