A question for a certain group of people.

Would you kindly stop the hate train? You know who you are so I don't need to explain what. But I do need to explain the why. The last thing I want for people getting into the FE franchise is being turned off by the flames of elitists and entitled morons who think their statements and opinions are the one and only justified way of thinking. Don't drag others into the cesspool of ignorance and intolerance you created. So why don't you rejoice at the fact that you can save more orbs for units that your want that could get released in the future?

Are you really trying to tell the internet to not be the internet?

Both of you have fair points. It's really disgusting to see how much a select few dilute the great things about the FEH community, but it's also a really tall order to ask them to stop. It's probably not worth trying, but I commend the OP for doing so.

And this is how I do my Internet. It goes both ways. You must agree a side with no opposition is nonexistent. This is my side going against theirs.

I mean, you say "certain group" but from what I've seen both groups are petty idiots. You've got those who want to talk about the situation rationally and to explain their points while the majority of the other side wishes to call them out as haters.

Not calling you out, but a lot of these people from BOTH sides are pretty fucking pathetic if they have to get this heated.

It's more about raising awareness that there are so many people just getting into the FE fandom. Who are we to take away that opportunity from them?

While it's definitely great to open FE to newcomers, I think a lot of people are upset that it feels more like pandering and not welcoming.

I do think that FE will be much healthier if FE: Three houses caters to both the newer and older fanbase (And is a good game...) to remove this ridiculous divide that people have. The fact that people are immediately labeled as one of two groups (Before Awakening and During/After Awakening) is stupid. Honestly sounds like politics and that's fucking idiotic.

People wouldn't generalize groups like that as harshly if there wasn't a basis for it in the first place. Look at the Fate/ franchise. They separate their own fandom into several subgroups, like OG for the visual novels, secondaries with the cartoons, tertiaries with the videogames. IT's like that with almost any fandom that has multiple titles under its belt. You can hate it all you want but its always gonna be like that because people can't help but generalize.

Did something happen that should be aware of? What's gotten people heated?

I saw mention of before Awakening and during/after but I thought it was generally all agreed on that we all loved Awakening and agree to disagree on Fates.

What hate train? I see no hate train. Why call people elitist, its literally admiting you arnt as good at the game. And the you write it seems like you think your oppionions and statements are the one and only justified way of thinking. people are entitled to say what they want, you should stop trying to shit stir
