She'll get 7 more Defense on enemy phase due to Safeguard. The other is based on HP threshold and not turn. Altogether, that would be a total possible Defense of 41, which is not bad at all. Don't know if Ignis is the best on her, though. Dancers are refreshers first, combatants second, unless you plan on regularly using her as a tank, then it's fine to keep, but Bonfire is also something to consider, as it has a shorter cooldown, and would be (at least) 20 damage with this build, assuming that all the effects are in, well, effect.
