PSA: Ike Urvan Consecutive Hits is more useful than you thought

I was playing lunatic CYL first stage and baited Brave Ike with my Red Ike. What happened was he attacked first and my red Ike doubled him back.

Brave Ike managed to survive only because him attacking on player phase makes the return attack consecutive if he gets doubled.

Urvan is... Not what I was hoping for, what with it not taking effect on follow-ups but this at least makes it better than I thought as it gives him a cushion of sorts on ranged units and when he attacks in player phase.

I'm happy enough.

I think this has convinced me not to stick dc on him. Sure I'll miss some counter kills but I'll also lose out on that ranged tanking. Plus his a slot is sweet already.

If it's confirmed that it wont trigger the reduction if he is attacked, counters, and hits back than its actually *less* useful that I'd have thought and this only reinforces the idea that i want him least out of the 4 actually.

We were already theorizing that Urvan would only take effect against Brave Weapons so, no, it's actually more useful than some of us thought.

Yeah I thought the weapon description was pretty clear - consecutive definitely implies that Ike cannot take an action in between hits but can attack first and get doubled on the counter and have the effect trigger. Only real question for me is if he gets quadded by, say a swordbreaker archer, whether hits 2-4 are all reduced or just hits 2 & 4. I think it's the former.
