Hey Guys I have these two units which I want to promote next (currently have 35k feathers). Effie has perfect IVs (+ATK/-SPD) and is maybe the best option because Reinhardts IVs are rather bad (+SPD/-HP) but I like him very much and he helps in so much quests and Effie is still good at 4*. To my plans: I want to make a team around Effie with Olivia, Nino and Erika or maybe Quadsuna just to have some variety. 2nd Team I'm planning is a cavalry with Reinhardt, Xander, Gunter and Cecilia. So sooner or later I need both of them. For now Reinhardt helps me more because I can use him for quests even better and he could replace my Robin (M) in my current team (Azura, Nino, Lucina, Robin) which struggles a lot in the arena at the moment because he has +RES/-DEF and don't have triangle adapt. So he nearly can't kill an enemy without help of Azura which often sticks with Nino. To make a long story short: is Reinhardt worth the promotion or should a rather go with Effie and wait for a better Reinhardt?
Effie will be more useful for GHBs and for Arena. Arena scoring works out to still favor armors over other units, even with the new update. If anything, picking Effie first will yield to a higher score which will lead to more feathers which will yield to a quicker upgrade for Reinhardt.
But also, that is an awful Reinhardt to upgrade. +SPD/-HP Reinhardt is just a -HP Reinhardt. The +SPD doesn't benefit him at all.
