Promote Effie to 5*?

I was summoning on the sacred stones banner for Tana and instead got a 4* +RES/-HP Effie. Despite the mediocre IVs, I'm tempted to promote her to 5* and give her a brave lance+ from my 5* Abel. I've heard that she's an incredible unit, and I also want to start an armor emblem team after summoning an Amelia from the banner. Should I promote her and give her the brave lance+, or wait and try to roll a better IV version?

Effie is Rank as 1 Tier unit and it's really good blue unit. For full potential for me wait for +Atk, -RES/-SPD or +DEF, -RES/-SPD.

Get the +Atk one. Brave weapons are all about having more atk. My 4* +atk is doing fine, so I just leave her at that until I can't decide who else to promote

I would wait until you get a +atk Effie.
Does your 5* Abel come crap IV ? Otherwise I would keep him, and promote a Donnel instead, because Abel is a good unit and could be useful in Arena Assault.

My Abel actually has pretty good IVs, +SPD/-DEF. He is useful as a quad lancer on my horse emblem team (I gave him Life and Death 2) but he's a bit too fragile for my liking and I don't use him often. I'm a F2P player, so it's kind of a pain in the ass to roll for another Effie, and I always have a shortage of feathers so I don't really wanna promote Donnel just to pass on his skill.

It is all about luck... I am F2P too, I got 3 Effie until now and only one Abel with crap IV.
Your Abel with +SPD is good, but he won't be the tank with a bane DEF.
I would change his Life and Death if he is too fragile and keep him. It is up to you.

Back to your Effie, as said before, I would wait for a good Effie before promoting her, even more if you are short on feathers.
You can wait until then to decide what to do with your Abel.
