Prf Weapons and Refines

After sitting in my barracks, looking at my Corrin, I got to thinking..

Why don't prf weapons cost Refining Stones for regular refines?

I mean.. I could see making them cost Divine Dew for giving them their special effect (like Yato and it's support effect), but why does it cost Divine Dew to give Corrin's Yato a simple speed/defense refine? I truly don't get it, and I don't even know if this could/would be changed in the future, because, the way I'm looking at it, it really doesn't make sense.

If regular refines only costed stones, then I'd probably give Soren's Wind Brand (+spd) in a heartbeat. Instead he's just stuck with his unrefined Wind Brand because the dew hasn't felt worth it for just for that compared to things like Lilina's DB refine or Fir's Nameless Blade effect.

This pretty much sums it up for me. There are quite a few weapons that I'd just give regular refines for, but the fact that they cost Divine Dew, even for regular refining effects like more speed or defense, is kind of a turn of.

I get that, Soren's really the main one for me out of my 5*s or characters I use/plan to use but who knows if it costed stones instead of dew maybe I'd give my Sanaki's Cymbeline (+res) or (+atk) since I don't use her with fliers very often so I haven't bothered with refining her weapon.

I agree. The problem is that they probably can't change it so that it costs stones instead of dew, because it would be kind of unfair towards people who spent all their dew on those upgrades.

One thing that seems kind of reasonable to me, would be more sources of divine dew. So far we only get it from refining regular weapons and from a couple of quests and maps sometimes. It would be nice, if it was farmable on maps, that require stamina, so that it wouldn't be completely gamebreaking.

I recently sent feedback to the devs about it, which is probably naive, but it would be nice if they looked into this.

Yeah, the only way think of to "fix" this would be to make Refining Dew a more accessible resource, whether that's making the resource itself more accessible, or the stones, it would help tremendously, and wouldn't have me sitting in my barracks scratching my head on if it's really worth spending my Divine Dew on a particular weapon's refine, knowing that it might be forever until I'm able to get more.
