Prf Weapon

Hey guys, I came back to this game after quite a long time and I'm pretty surprised with how much they actually improved the number of weapons we can refine. That leads me to my question: Which out of the options that I will list did you have the most fun with/consider to be really strong?

These are the ones that I'm actively pondering about:

Alm - a Falchion brave sword sounds just like too much fun.
Eliwood - more of a personal choice, but with blazing durandal he could reach 56 base attack at my current merge level.
Ephraim - either flame siegmund or the upgraded normal siegmund. The problem is that I have a -atk IV, which leads me more towards flame siegmund.
Eirika - her upgraded weapon seems pretty OP if it works as I think it does.

Apart from that I have pretty much all the heroes that have a unique weapon upgrade, so feel free to share even your own picks, that you enjoyed playing with afterwards.

Thanks in advance!

Out of those units, Alm is easily the most powerful in my opinion. A dragon-killing Brave sword? Not to mention he has built-in Renewal 3.

A couple of the weapons I really like is Fir's Nameless Blade, Felicia's Felicia's Plate (lol), and Raven's Basilikos.

Fir can do some serious damage when in Desperation range, and it excellent at tanking mages.

Felicia is the queen at mage tanking, and her weapon targeting the lowest of a foe's defenses is amazing, not to mention the classic dagger debuff.

Raven's Basilikos makes him one of the strongest, if not THE strongest, axe user as far as raw damage. Life and Death on his weapon, mixed with Fury and Desperation, and he'll be doing some serious damage. He becomes pretty glass canon with this, though.

Thx for the suggestions. The heroes that you listed are also pretty interesting with their upgrades. I especially like Felicia in this context, since it makes her quite unique. It's a shame that it takes some time to gather all the required materials for those upgrades.

Alm's Falchion is the best candidate for the refine out of everything on your list--and arguably has the best refine in the game. A un-penalized Brave Sword with 16 might, Renewal 3, and Dragon effectiveness is way too good to pass up. (By the way, he can actually quad if you set him up correctly.)

After that, I would go with Eirika's refine. Her weapon essentially makes it so that she gives +4 Atk buff to an ally AND herself in combat. With the Hone Spd C-Skill, she gives more Spd to adjacent allies and herself.

If you ever get a better Ephraim, then definitely go for Siegmend's Effect upgrade rather than the Flame Siegmund. I argue that it is probably the second best refine behind Alm's Falchion because it allows him two guaranteed attacks (though, not consecutive like Alm's or any of the Brave weapons) if he initiates with 90%+ HP. That effect is crazy good.

Blazing Durandal is nice on Eliwood, but B!Roy just outclasses him in every way offensively. The only reason to recommend this refine is if you don't have B!Roy or some sort of good offensive Red melee Cavalier like Siegbert.

Yeah, it seems like Alm is just too strong. I was thinking about a quad build (not by cheesing it with desp + brash assault, which is even impossible due to how his weapon works), because I have a +spd IV, so with a couple of dedicated upgrades and support he might be able to quad somewhat consistently.

As for Eliwood, I know that he's pretty underwrhelming when compared to other red cavs, but he's a personal favorite of mine, because he was a long time staple of my cavalry teams before B.Roy replaced him.

Soren - his new Wind's Brand gives him a new niche compared to other green mages. Built-in in Chill Atk that can be paired with another Chill like Spd or Res along with Ploys can allow him to inflict heavy debuffs on the enemy team.

Lilina - fulfills her destiny as Queen of OHKO. Forblaze with Chill Res and Death Blow refinement is an immediate 13 damage on a Chilled target. And this can be stacked by another Death Blow.

Fir/Karel - they no longer need to choose between Wo Dao or Slaying Edge. Nameless Blade gives both effects.

That's a good point, Soren sounds interesting. He would also finally find some use among my other green mages, because before his new weapon, he was pretty much just worse when compared to everyone else. Can't wait to farm more materials for refinement, since I decided to stick with Alm first, due to how much value his upgrade gains. Soren is probably gonna come right after this.
