Pretty disappointed with IS for winter

I’m not shocked that’s its armor emblem it’s just it’s so lazy the way they designed these characters
- we could have had like Santa hector or idk a flying reindeer or someone throwing a sleigh they could have been creative
-Atleast it’s not Fates so that’s nice
-Hopefully New Years is better designed tbh well see in 15 days I guess...
-These armors are so basic just padded stats honestly it’s sad how little of an effort IS gives to seasonal events.

At least Cecilia will be throwing stockings, but yeah. Could have had a flying reindeer unit, or they could've made ONE armored unit that's like a snowman. Have a cavalier riding a... I dunno, something.

So many missed opportunities because they wanted to make more armored units... Because that's what we need. More armored units.

At least none of them look as dumb as Winter Tharja, although that isn't really saying much.

I actually like Winter That's design. It's dumb for a Christmas alt, but if you take away what the alt was for, then her design is not bad in my eyes.

Still don't like Tharja, but her Winter variant looks happy, and she doesn't give off the dark seductress vibe her original version does.

Yea design aside IS did a great job with her because even her tome animation is really cool she summmons present in a circle of fire it’s pretty unique hopefully the armored dagger has a nice animation

People would go "Another Hector alt!!!" if that happened and most likely he'll still be armored sooo not much different from what we got

While I don't particulary like FE6, I always enjoy units from under-represented games. And if we are completely honest, last year's christmas designs weren't too hot either.

Yea but they were better than the other seasonals that year tbh we’ve gotten a lot better seasonal alt design this year for sure La Hector and that love abounds was amazing art.

I'll take Fae, Cecillia and the twins over Hector or Fates/Awakenings' main characters any day. I am not excited for it since it's armors again but eh. It's atleast nice seeing that the tiny dragon and Cecilia are not forgotten.

This banner is alright.
I like the characters, even if the twins weren't in need of an alt.

But honestly, I like the fact that it's not too wow. No super bait skills or possible cheese.
Just some fine units you can pull if you like or skip if you don't.

Imma pull for Ephraim.
But I really like that thry gave a less populair character like Cecilia an alt

Yeah, I was a bit underwhelmed by the banner too. The twins don't really do anything for me personally, and overall I didn't see any game-changing skills like I was expecting based off of what last Christmas' units added to the game. Attack Opening is pretty cool I guess. But! Although I was realllly hoping for a Christmas Nowi alt, I'm happy that Fae got one at least, so the Chibi dragons can rule the meta again as armors. And an armor dagger unit it pretty neat. Here's to hoping that their stats are a cause for excitement.

The twins are really popular and don't have any seasonals yet, so it makes sense for them to show up at some point. Now is as good a time as any. (Really the strange thing is that Ike *still* hasn't had a seasonal yet.)

Fae and Cecilia are character's I'm pretty fond of, and it's nice to see Binding Blade get some love. I probably won't pull for Fae (Radiant Dawn has priority), but at least I get a free Cecilia.

The designs are nice. No embarassing fanservice, no lolicon--just fun festive outfits. Yeah, it's armors, but whatcha gonna do? At least we round out the weapon/movement combinations and Fae gives us a new weapon (though it's kind of in the same space as Water Breath) and isn't score creep.

Also, New Year's is going to be princess themed. So, well, hopefully it's not Lucina and F. Corrin again.
