Predictions on the next GHB

In the 28 we will have a new GHB and normally it is related to the newest banner, this time we have CYL2 which starts tomorrow. As i never played a fire emblem game exept for feh i don't know what unit to expect, i would like if someone could tell me what type of unit i should expect, like weapon or expected stats.
Or maybe we could have an original character as GHB as we have Veronica as one of the upcoming heroes, so maybe Zacharias?

Even if you had played other FE games, you would have no clue what to expect. There are 4 heroes from 4 different FE games in CYL, who have no real connection to each other, which is why it's up to the devs to find a theme that they'll share and they'll apply the same theme to the GHB, if it connects to it.

The only thing that some of them share (that I can think of) is that they are close to their siblings, so they could borrow their weapon or fighting style. Ephraim and Eirika, Celica and Conrad, Veronica and Zach, Hector and....yeah, Hector doesn't really fit. His brother Uther was a marquess of Ostia before him and they were kind of close, but Uther was a non-playable character and wasn't hugely important to the story.

Maybe the GHB is Conrad, it’s not like it makes much less sense than most of the other possibilities lol.

Honestly, Zacharias is the only possibility I can think of that makes any sense. Hector, Ephraim, and Celica are all from completely different games and there isn’t really anything that ties them together, and it wouldn’t make sense for the CYL banner to come with a GHB that favors one of those games over the others. It would make more sense, however, for Heroes to favor itself, and with Veronica as a CYL unit I think bringing Zacharias along as a GHB is a really neat idea. (Also I really really *really* want playable Zacharias.) If it isn’t Zacharias, I’d vote for Ylgr, since everyone thinks Hrid is gonna be a legendary hero soon and *obviously* the whole royal family of Nifl should be playable. Of course, I could be entirely wrong about all of this, there’s only so much sense that any of it makes, so the possibilities are still open.

Well last time we had BK as TT hero when CYL got released if i remember correctly

I just went and looked at the gamepress page for that TT and the bonus units were all from the Radiance games, pretty sure BK was there in honor of the Elincia/Nephenee/Oscar banner (which I think came right before the first CYL). There wasn’t a TT with the CYL units as the bonus heroes until later, when the farfetched heroes banner came, and the reward unit was Joshua (who was also a farfetched hero).

So the only precedent we really have for reward units who are associated with CYL is a runner-up from the poll. And you’d think they’d wait until a second farfetched heroes banner to do that...unless maybe there isn’t going to be one? Looking at the CYL results, the only character in the top 20 who isn’t in the game and playable already is Loki. So...I guess it could be Loki? Personally I like the Zacharias idea a lot better (I *hate* Loki and don’t want her to be playable ever), but since there’s no precedent for any of this I’m still just shooting in the dark, so who knows. I will say Loki’s weapon is way too powerful for a GHB unit (honestly I think it’s more powerful than IS would dare to put in player hands at all, but if they did you know it would be a prf locked to a 5* exclusive summon, not on a unit that everyone could get several copies of for free), so if the GHB is Loki she would have a completely different weapon. (Good lord please let it be Zacharias and not her.)

In before Yukata Ashnard cause the Festival banner will still be going on. I know it's not likely but I can dream...
