Predictions and hopes. The refine bomb of december!
As usual, I want to take my jab at doing a prediction on the refines. Sure, it's probably wrong. But still fun to do.
And feel free to give your own prediction!
Now, I will make it a balance between what I hope it is, and what's realistic.
-
Ogma:
Base: 11 mt Inflicts Spd-5. If unit initiates combat, unit attacks twice (brave)
Refine: If unit is within 2 spaces of a axe ally, grants Atk/Spd+4 during combat.
I'm thinking a brave weapon or a weapon depending on hp might be the most likely. Since he has good atk and spd, but not as op as Cherche, a bit of a better refine would suit him. One that brings his speed back up. It also refrences the fact that he leads 3 axe users.

1# guess
Robin (both)
14mt owl tome
Refine: If adjecent to a single ally, grants +3 def/res and allows unit to counterattack regardless of range.
#2 guess
Robin (both)
Base: Grants +3 atk/spd during combat to units within two spaces.
Refine: At start of turn, if unit is adjacent to an ally, grants Atk/spd/def/res+3 to unit and adjacent allies for 1 turn.
If there is any unit that'll get a (situational) close counter, Robin is at the very least on the list.
Honestly I see four things possible for them, with some mix and matching:
Raven effect, Owl/Bond effect, Close Counter, a pure support skill.
Given their unique skills in awakening were all focussed on support I think that pure support is very likely.
-
Navarre
Base: 16mt Unit and foes cannot counterattack
Refine: After combat, if the unit has no allies with 2 spaces, unit can move again but not attack or use support abilities. Disables the special galeforce.
I like the idea of a firesweep unique weapon, and Navarre is perfect for it. It fits his stats. His weapon has a similair style to it. Ect.
But coming up with a refine effect isn't easy. Atk/spd solo would fit, but that'd be kinda OP.
This one might be too strong as well, but I liked the idea so I kinda had to share
-
Palla:
Base: 16mt -1 special cooldown trigger
Refine: Flier allies within 2 spaces gain +2 atk/spd and Special cooldown charge +1 per attack. (only highest value applied. Does not stack.)
Catria:
Base 16 mt -1 special cooldown trigger
Refien: If within 2 spaces of a flier, gain 3 atk/spd and deals damage = 20% of foe's Def when Special triggers.
Est:
Base 16 mt -1 special cooldown trigger
Refine: If within 2 spaces of at least 2 flying allies, unit gains -1 special cooldown at the start of battle and can counterattack regardless of range
Pfew. I'm pretty sure all of these are somewhat off, but you can kinda see my pattern.
All of em have to do with special cooldown when together.
Palla is the most supportive of the 3, being the elder sister. She makes it so her allies get the power.
Catria is staightforward and powerfull. Boosting herself with the effect.
Est makes use out of her res with dc. And potentially can blast off vantage moonbows. But needs the help of 2 fliers since she's the inexperienced last child.

While I think my predictions aren't going to be right, I do believe I might get close with one or two of em.
And it's just fun to do this tbh

I still think Ogmas weapon will be -2 or -3 instead of -5 because even a +4 spd buff from the axe users and a +spd boon and Fury3 he'll still only have 39 spd non merged. It's enough speed to quad average spd units but most average spd units come with high bulk.
I also don't think both robins will have the same effect on their weapons because people might wanna change up their playstyle. For example F!robin could instead be be effective against armors and cavalry when unrefined. While M!robin could get raven tome but also owl tome when unrefined.

I'm thinking Ogma might also have brazen atk/spd as refine, which would give +7 to both.
But I don't think the base effect will be any better than Cherche.
For Robin I'd be surprised if they give them fully differend effects.
Maybe effects that mirror: Like the one boosts atk/def and the other spd/res or something like that. But not fully differend.
They are already blue and green, so them being counterparts only makes sense.

I think these are more likely
Navarre
Base: Accelerate cooldown by 1.
Refine: +10 dmg when special activtes
Ogma
Base: Accelerate cooldown by 1.
Refine: +10 dmg when special activtes
Robin M
Base: Accelerate cooldown by 1.
Refine: +10 dmg when special activtes
Robin F
Base: Accelerate cooldown by 1.
Refine: +10 dmg when special activtes
Est
Base: Accelerate cooldown by 1.
Refine: +10 dmg when special activtes
Palla
Base: Accelerate cooldown by 1.
Refine: +10 dmg when special activates
Catria
Base: Accelerate cooldown by 1.
Refine: +10 dmg when special activtes

I really don't want the Robins to get a support ability, to be honest. They'd have to compete with the other buffers, who are all in a really good place at the moment. Marth has a decent statline so he can hold his own without a self-serving weapon, Odin has an amazing assist weapon that also benefits him, Titania can give amazing buffs, but they focused her so that she can be a specific counter to a portion of the cast, etc.
But the Robins have a really wierd statline. They are ranged, but their resistance is pretty poor, which (since there are more mages than archers and daggers) is more important than defense on a ranged defensive unit. Their defense is pretty good, but needs CC to fight with melee units, so that takes away their A slot for something else. The rest of their stats are low nowadays, too. If they only had a support ability, they'd still be in pretty much the same state they were in before. If they had the owltome & bond CC ability you mentioned, that'd be really cool since then they could run bonds on both A and SS, which would put them at a much better spot than before. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Here are my guesses of what they'll be. (Not necessarily what I want.)
Ogma - The exact same effects as Cherche's Axe.
The Robins [guessing they're likely to be the same.] - Owltome Base with Omnibond 2
The Whitewings [Also guessing they'll be the same] - If number of flier allies within 2 spaces is greater than or equal to 2, grants +3 Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat and unit attacks twice. (I saw the code asset.)
Navarre - Kinda clueless tbh. Could be a Slaying Firesweep or a Slaying weapon with Atk/Spd Solo. I don't know.
