Player Phase Kana Breath?
I'm building a player phase female Kana with Swift Sparrow and Desperation so the choice of weapon is Light Breath or Dark Breath.
Light buffs her and allies so she initiates, buffs herself and the waiting ally behind her before being swapped/repositioned so the buffed enemy phase dragon takes whatever comes. A dancer would also give her the chance of attacking another unit with +5 to all stats.
Dark Breath weakens the target and surrounding enemies so, again, Kana initiates and is moved for an enemy phase dragon to take the weakened enemies. If the team has been positioned right they should also have buffs so there would be a greater reduction in damage.
So, is it better to buff or debuff? Also don't try and take me out of it as I've already given her Swift Sparrow and have Fae and Myrrh as enemy phase green dragons.

I'd reckon that light breathe is the better player phase weapon, since it's the only one of the two that directly enhances your offensive spread. Dark breathe is better as an enemy phase since it only affects attack and speed, so unless you want to run heavy blade along with a dancer, light breathe is probably your go to. Of course light breathe can run heavy blade too, not to mention you can pretty much do the same thing as a refined Dark Breathe by slapping Speed Smoke as a C-slot and attack smoke as your Sacred Seal.

Remember that those boosts are field boosts and don't stack. If you have Tactics or Dragon buffs, or your dancer happens to be PAzura, you are better off with Dark Breath which has the extra benefit of working on both phases effectively. Otherwise, Light Breath is better.
