So, the banner drops the 21st for us (Daylight Savings), and since the banner vid should be tonight, what game do you think it'll be?

Remember, the only games we can't pick are 6 and a Tellius game.

So, you can pick from Shadow Dragon/New Mystery, SoV, Genealogy/Thracia(yes I put them together cause same universe), Blazing Blade, The Stones, or Awakening (don't even guess Fates or I'll go insane)
You can bet on 3 in the order of your chosing.

So, Awakening>Genealogy>Stones

Awakening is due for its banner, and Genealogy has been treated nicely this year, so theyre a possibility as well. Stones I could see getting a banner, though unlikely it may be.

How upset would people be if this month or in the coming months, the new heroes came from the 'Three houses' game that is due for release on the Switch in the spring?

I wouldn't a tall. I'd be kinda excited. Hype it up.

Byleth looks like a badass wearing a coat with broken sleeves so I wouldn't mind getting that new MU who's a badass and not the protagonist (another advisor role, thank the Lord XD)

Yeah, it'd be cool if each of the 3 houses got a spotlight in the months up to release. More likely I guess is a single banner with one hero from each house at some point in the winter.

The games in February no? I expect us to get a banner with them in January or the end of January. I really do, or perhaps February itself.

That being said, I am excited for 3 Houses. The game is going to be dope as all hell.

I just want a Dragon form of Celica that summons Milla as a tranformation, or maybe Duma for her possessed form, like how the fallen robins summon Grima.

That would make sense for Jedah. Don't see why Celica would be able to do that though

I wouldn't mind Jedah if he summons Duma like Fallen Robin does.

From past examples, it seems as though IS doesn't take Brave units into account when deciding alts, as example, when Ephraim and Hector won the male bracket, they still received a Legendary alt within a month or two. Same with Ike, and the most egregious, Lyn.

Than again, maybe they do count, as without B!Ephraim, we would have more Eirika's (3) than Ephraim's(2 without brave), since IS usually keeps the number (non seasonal) of paired protags the same, such as Robin and Corrin.
Alm/Celica is the only pair off balance.

I think they do. The bigger thing to note is that they always wait 2-3 months before releasing a LHB of a unit that just had an alt as a baseline, as to avoid fanbase meltdowns on day 1 of that banners release. Furthermore, they take 6 months to plan things ahead. If they planned the Hector stuff for that month and he just so happens to win CYL, I don't think it's fair to say that they don't count him, it's just that he won.

Still, I know you like her. But there are other fun units who need an alt. If only for gameplay reasons.

I'm not a big Seliph fanboy, but he really needs an alt to do him justice.
Meanwhile Celica's normal and alt versions are already outstanding. Both art and gameplay.

Well, Seliph needs an alt bad, like, very badly. Other than that most other lords don't need one (Alm is hella strong in this form, he simply needs to be a LHB unit eventually)

Like, I like Celica (more than Eirika, cause at least Celica admits that she's naive at some point) but even then I understand that she doesn't need 3 billion alts (though if they'r all really well drawn and good looking I wouldn't be too pissed. XD

I would fight to protect Eirika. She's underated.

Let's not make Celica another Camilla. Getting another art will accually hurt her popularity.
I wouldn't might a seasonal though. I think that's why you never heared much trouble about Chrom and his alt. Most of em are (well designed) Seasonals. Both Celica and Eirika only have non-seasonal alts.

I find it funny how Tharja has just become accepted as a seasonal unit that will always get an alt.

people were mad at Camilla getting yet another alt because it shows IS thinks we all are a bunch of horny guys who will throw cash the screen for breasts. Also she had no place on that banner lore wise.

Actually, I hate Camilla and Tharja from the bottom of my being (they're horrible characters who's growth amounts to I act less like a douche) and the fact that they get that many alts is annoying. The thing is, Camilla is hated more so she gets more flack for her alts. Whilst Tharja is thought to be the goth girl thats nice inside (since not everyone reads all her supports) so she's hated less overall. Plus her alts have been pretty far apart and theyre all seasonal so it's not as bad as getting a bjillion non seasonal alts everywhere (cough, Camilla, cough)

Path of Radiance is possible--it's Radiant Dawn that's coming in January, and I'm not sure IS hates Tellius so much to give them only a single banner in the entirety of 2018.

Ehh, Binding Blade would like to talk to you about how both it, Tellius and SoV are not all too loved by IS since they didn't sell well XD

I'm thinking they would have announced it if echoes was the banner.
So I think Blazing Blade or Sacred Stones are the most likely.
Though Marths games aren't far behind.

We aren't getting a forging bonds right? I expect this to be a 3 person banner.

If we get Sacred Stones, It might be that we get Grado characters. (if they theme it)
Cormag, Natasha, maaaybe Duessel. Selena as GHB isn't unlikely.

For Blazing Blade, Pent and Louise are extremely likely as are Rath and Nils.
All of em are pretty high in the CYL list. With Haar being the only non-beast character that's not in heroes to beat out Louise (thx mangs)
The GHB could be Nergal or any of the Morphs.

For Marth's game I'm less sure.
But I'd like Astram just to complete the trio of legendary weapons (Gradivus, Parthia and Mercurius)

Uhh, Forging Bonds is here, so it's a 4 man banner. Honestly, I don't think it'll be Marth's games, but I could see 8. Still have my bets on Awakening though. IS has proved us wrong when we say they'll break the Awakening pattern time and time again and I'm tired of being wrong when I bet against IS' tendency to love those 2 games XD

So. If we were to bet, I'd say 1 or 7, and you'd say 8 or 13.

Knowing my luck guessing, I'm eithre on the nail down to the units and the TT, or I'm super far off and not even remotely close. So you have a 50/50 chase to beat me. Let's see who's the most wrong XD

Oh and I'd say 3 is more probable. Most of the characters from 1 are in 3 but older and better, so I'd guess 3 to have a better chance of getting in.

But yeah I can agree with the whole 3 is 1 thing. I just tend to lump it into 3 since the majority of the cast is there. But at that point it's just counting peanuts since it's what, a bunch of Sable Knights and 2-3 new units? God I need to replay that game before Three Houses but I'm stuck beating Fates and Birthright is hurting me bad. XD

Yes, but that was Farfetched heroes, not a usual banner per se. And these banners seem to be themed and thus are normally 4 man banners. But I digress, we shall see.

We already got a Forging Bond event with Awakening characters (Maribelle and company).

I think other games deserve this treatmetn too.

Nah, I wouldn't expect that. IS tends to keep neutrality over who's the mother of the units and making Lucina a dancer may just make the Chrom x Olivia shippers go mad with their cannon talks, potentially causing the apocalypse. XD

I would love it if it was a character from Sacred Stones. I really don't care which character it is, but I'm hoping that it's a LEGENDARY MYRRH just to give me a reason to spend the 150+ orbs I've been saving for 7 more regular Myrrh.
