Our Not-So-Speedy Boy?

I was wondering if there was any use for a +Atk -Spd normal Roy. I intend on making him a 5 star unit, but I'm not sure if he's even worth building considering his nature. Windsweep is something I have considered, but then I would give up the Swift Sparrow and Renewal that I put on my Alm. Please help!

Windsweep with 28 speed is... questionable. Don't 5* this one, you'll find a new one eventually. Going for this IV spread literally makes him as slow as a slug and he's not super amazing that you have to 5* him.

I see. Would you recommend that I look for a +Spd specifically, or is a neutral Spd Roy fine?

Neutral speed is fine but +spd allows you to avoid being doubled a lot easier.

Roy has average defenses and having +Speed would keep him from getting doubled by a plethora of different units.

-Attk makes him lose 4 attack, so that's should never be a bane.
He also needs all his defenses in tact. If not boons, make sure they aren't banes as he receives an additional +2 Res. and Def. when under fire.
He can stand to lose HP. Above 40 is fine. Roy needs all his his stats honestly. He's usually only a green killer if people run TA on him, which is best for him since he'll die by anything blue anyway.

A green killer, hm? Would you say he performs this role better than Eirika? I have a TA Eirika with -HP +Res, but I wanted to use Fury as her A skill to increase her survivability from blue mages. If she performs Roy's job better than him, than it would save me the feathers on the other hand.

Roy and Eirika are the same in both defense and resistance, but seeing as she is +Res, she'll tank magic better.

TA is a good option for her as well since her attack is little low, but Fury will increase all her stats. Since she is -HP, she doesn't have the power to stomach Fury entirely well, but this is solely up to you.

I think she'll be a better green killer to answer the question.
