Is this an optimal Ogma build?

Here's a suggestion:

Post a pic of your build.

So with this build you're expecting to hit an opponent, have them counter attack and chunk you, then you activate Reprisal to KO them. Then you wait on Renewal to heal you up to do it again?

If you go with L&D, you have to go with desperation.

And if you need healing, go with aether. Otherwise dragonic fang/aura works as well.
Even Sol could work, given that he already does a lot of damage

Personally I prefer fury though

I think Ogma is better as a defensive unit rather than offensive.
I’d suggest steady stance 3/4 (not breath) with blue flame.
The reason for it being Ogma with his effect and innate high speed means he could double on retaliation, AND Proc blue flame. With heavy blade he could even have his special primed if he doubles the enemy. If you manage to get SS 4 than you also get guard, which is stronkk and Ogma would have enough defense to tank!
You could use wrath as well, as Ogma’s defense means he will take damage, but not as much as to be killed within 1 hit (don’t fight Nowi or Tiki and you’ll be fine)

If you like offensive builds( don’t really recommend since he may put himself in dange of mages), get desperation alongside life and death.
