Opinion on lower tiers..

Lower tier character are good if you invest them a lot, except Odin. No one likes Odin, but to be honest you never trust those tiers, I still remember when Spring Lucina was tier 1 unit, 5/5.

With the refinery and seal forge, many lower tier units have a lot of potential. Still can’t think of any uses for Odin and Henry other than foddering Blarblade and R Tomebreaker and Raouraven and G Tomebreaker respectively.

Basically, other than the bottom tiers, the tier list doesn't affect a whole lot of play. You can build almost any unit into a really solid role-player on your team. Cecilia would be an example of a mid tier that doesn't quite get the respect she deserves. She dominates just about all non-reds if you build her right. And a fully bladed Cecilia can even take on a good amount of reds. Not to mention her Raven TA build is amazing at enemy phase tanking against Brave Lyn and Reinhardt. Pick a mid tier that you like and invest in them if you don't have a high tier that can play the role, or need more units to play the role for Arena Assault.

With all the updates, I think lower tier characters can finally start rising up. I’ve been using saizo and oboro and I plan to build up Arthur because I found a build that lets him hit 53 atk, 45 spd, and 37 defense. The fact that you can now take a low tier character like Arthur and boost their stats up to levels like this with skill inheritance, supports, and weapon refinery alone tells me that low tier characters can finally start breaking out and making uses for themselves. And now units like Henry who’s ere once horrible have new uses like countering brave lyn, even if it’s niche it’s useful
