Opinion on this Jaffar build

I like this guy and the build I'm working on for him can make him absurdly annoying in the defense team along with a dancer/singer. As much as I hate dealing with dancers and singers since they tend to piss me off when I'm trying to do a deathless run, maybe this kind of build could encourage other players to try this out on their own. Jaffar is the only dagger user who can utilize this build due to two items stacking upon each other, while still being the triple debuffer, he can also be a "Venom snake" to tanks.

Preferred IV: +atk/-res or +spd/-res
Weapon: Deathly Dagger
Assist: Draw back
Special: Luna
Slot A: Life and Death 3
Slot B: Poison Strike 3
Slot C: Threaten Speed 3

This build aims for player phase if you're the one in control of Jaffar, if the enemy has this build on Jaffar, approach him with extreme caution. This build is the bane of any tanks existence, as if Jaffar initiates combat, he does a flat 17 true damage from both Deathly Dagger and Poison Strike 3 which both stack upon each other. This can get out of hand very quickly if he has a dancer in is team, as she can give him a second turn of action to finish off the target that survived his encounter or if he manages to kill his first initial target, he can go straight onto another one and proceed to drop their health significantly while crippling their defenses. Luna helps his relatively low base attack so he can chunk off tanks health through their massive defenses that overpower Jaffar, while Threaten speed prevents follow up attacks against faster units or potentially make them slow enough for him to double. However this build does not work against Hector if he's above 80% of his maximum HP, as Jaffar will end up getting KO'd thanks to Hector's distant counter and built in quick reposte 2. This build also intends on giving the player breathing room, as if they end up losing a unit that happens to hard counter a specific opponent, Jaffar is used to soften that enemy up before another teammate who wouldn't be able to do any damage or defeat them single handedly, will be able to finish them off.

Give your honest opinion if you wish, or you may review this build and try it for yourself if you do not know what to do with Jaffar. If you did not achieve the correct IV spread, have no fear, just work on the build at hand and if you happen to get another Jaffar with the correct IV spread, merge them together and all skills that have been learned along with inherited skills will already be learned and ready to use which can save you A LOT of SP. I work hard on builds for thieves in this game as they're under appreciated at times and they're quite unique at what they can do for each specific hero, so in the future when I get the resources for them, I'll post a new build for them.

I like it, although I can imagine +17 damage could be overkill in a lot of situations. I usually find that -7 damage along with his debuffs makes 80% of my follow ups with other units enough to KO, the only rare occasions I find are usually with Effie, especially if she stays above 50% hp. Desperation might be a stronger pick overall.

Also, have you considered savage blow on c slot? this makes his team synergy a lot stronger if you have heavy hitters that want to OHKO.

Savage Blow is much stronger on Saizo with his smoke dagger, as not only is he applying an AOE debuff to their defenses, he's also dealing 7 true damage to the opponent rather than only just debuffing them, which can mean a lot from being able to KO them without retaliation damage to taking serious damage before knocking them out. Although you could swap Deathly dagger for smoke dagger on Jaffar, Deathly Dagger is unique only to himself and fits him as a triple debuffer. Plus with Zephiel as our upcoming Grand hero battle and his Wary fighter plus large amounts of HP and defense, this build can be be helpful to drop him from the 50% HP threshold to allow blue mages to finish him off.

I have the exact same jaffar except i gave him swap. I gave him swap in case he has to step in and take a bullet for another close hero.

He's a little squishy to take hits but I understand what you mean, you must be weary about getting into ranges of two enemies though, or blade tome users that have received buffs.
