Ophelia Build

I managed to pull a +ATK -RES Ophelia and I'm looking to build her as a continuous AOE nuke, staying with her natural Blazing Light.
Is there a reason I'm not seeing as to why Deathblow 4 is recommended in the site build over Life and Death 3? I know that her defenses suffer, but if she's a OHKO unit that shouldn't make a difference, and with LnD the extra 5 damage is added to the AOE calculations, so it seems that LnD3 adds 12 damage while DB4 adds only 8.

Yeah I like LnD3 better too.
That's what I gave my Ophelia (I got the same IVs too!)

No idea. The explanation/analysis even states that LnD is the better choice.

Dont forget also that the aoe special damage is untyped (she can one shot adept cecelia with it), so its probaby even more important to have raw atk if you're looking at it in terms of numbers

L&D increases the dmg of the AoE special while Death blow won't as Blazing light deals dmg before the combat begins, while Death blow give in combat buff which doesn't affect it

Here's mine. Same IVs. Hardy bearing helps stop vantage, which is very useful.

I definitely recommend L&D over db4 for every reason including availability
