We still havent gotten an armor unit that can stay in the 175 bin regardless of bane and we already have a unit in the 180 bin *sigh*

Maybe Deirdre will be somewhat meta again. Tiki’s res ain’t that good. It’s decent, but Deirdre will pound her (not a euphemism).

I think it's a misconception that people think "balanced stats" are a problem. It's better to have less weaknesses than one single thing you're good at...Tiki still has decent Atk and pretty great Spd for an armoured (in fact, only loses out to Lyn by 1 point). Her lowest stat isn't even that low, and let alone with 45 HP and a number of resources to patch it up.

I used to think that was Libra's problem (highest BST along with Fjorm, Joshua and boy Kana). People have pointed out he uses his stats well. His Spd isn't really that low, generally enough to avoid a handful of doubles and still get powerful doubles off of Breath skills. Solid mixed bulk, etc.

The weakness is that generalists tend to find themselves struggling when someone stacks, say, 50+ def. They might not be able to hit hard enough, and next thing you know there's an ignis coming in.

Considering how bad the BST-creep was last year, it's not that bad right now. The unit with the highest BST before LY!Tiki was W!Lissa over 9 months ago. The only one to come close to that until now was F!Hardin who tied W!Lissa and even he was released 7 months ago in February. I'd wait until we get more units to start worrying about the creep again.
