Omni H bruiser build Michalis?

Saw his video and thought about if it was legit:

Hauteclere (wo dao refined)
Brazen atk/def
Vantage
Ignis
Deflect melee 3 SS

Would it be working sacrificing my winter chrom for this Michalis build? I already have Amelia and Hector and finished TT this month

I came to this site right now for the exact same reason at the same time. Damn is that weird.

I think you shouldn't sacrifice your Santa Chrom for now, you should probably just stick with Fortress def to test the waters. You should calculate out how much more damage you would get with the Brazen.

In my opinion, this would work well, IF he stays above 80% health. The second he drops below, he becomes a lot less effective. That’s why I’ve stuck with his native Iote’s shield in the A slot and gave him heavy blade 3 in the SS slot (with quick riposte in the b slot, he becomes the ultimate enemy phase unit; he will fire off Ignis when attacked at full health, and more than likely kill his opponent while taking very little damage)

Hm I think you just totaly missed the whole purpose of this build which is basically getting lower than 80% hp...

He is using Vantage, not QR as you mentionned so that he can make use of deflect melee to reduce the 2nd atk from the ennemy and also proc the brazen skill.

Omni's bruiser build is certainly interesting, and definitely effective in many situations.

However, I don't think using your Winter Chrom for Brazen Atk/Def is worth it. While you DO secure many more kills with this skill over Fortress Def, Michalis still has a problem with how many of him you can merge (I think the most you can get right now is +5?). Unless you're thinking of devoting that much time and feathers into him, I would hold onto your Chrom for now and test out Stance skills, Fortress Def, maybe even Fury or Atk/Def +2.
