Olivia or Sharena? pls help

I have 20k feathers and want to upgrade one of them to 5* to use for the arena bonus (both are 4*). From what I can tell from the tier list on here Olivia might be stronger because of dance but my Olivia is -def +res so its not the best IVs. I'm f2p so I don't want to spend 20k feathers on someone i might never use again. Also inheritance is not a problem because I have more than enough SP and a couple of units to give up.

Sharena is gonna be a perm team member in arena cause the askr trio rotate all the time, so my first guess would be to upgrade her.
Olivia may be a better choice if you lack a dancer though, but i would probably wait for a better iv set.

I was able to pull azura during hero fest (Naga bless) but I don't like the idea of having 2 lance unit during an arena run, you know? But if she's better for the long run or if i can't pull a good Olivia should I just deal with it?

There is nothing wrong with 2 lance users, specially since azura is on the squishier side.
My sharena runs triangle adept+lancebreaker for a wider coverage, but fury builds work well too.

Sharena she will always be a bonus unit plus she is quite decent if you give her fury

I do have fury. Should I give her renewal to make more tanky or lance breaker like it says on the recommended set on here?

Since you said in a subsequent post that you have Azura, I would promote Sharena. Azura should be primarily a backline unit and an emergency sword counter. Sharena can be a primary blue unit for you and can also be built to fill various niches. I built mine as a debuffer and she has been awesome.

Also, Olivia is less of a "primary" red unit than Azura is a primary blue (good luck dealing with Hector without a stronger red unit than Olivia); and you're better off in the current arena meta running 2x blue than running 2x green.

And of course, as others have mentioned, Sharena will be a bonus unit on 1/3 of arena seasons - lots of return on your investment there.

Olivia can be a reliable Hector counter though. 5* or 4* +2 and above Olivia with Ruby Sword+ as well as Moonbow and neutral attack will one round an unmerged +Atk Hector. 4* +10 Olivia with the above build can one round 5* +10 Hector as well.
