fuck you IS. Marth is the main fucking character, the staple of the franchise and he's gotten shit on since the launch of Heroes.

Literally all these Hectors are the same green armored unit anyways. is it that hard to make something different?

its both. Hector is already confirmed for CYL so thats 4 fucking hectors in feh.

Lol, people act like Hector broke a milestone or something. Lyn already did that when she received her Legendary variant.

I can't help but wonder why IS hasn't made a Marth alt for the summoning pool. The outcry for one is huge. People would go crazy if they got one at this point, especially as a legendary hero. IS would make bank.
Maybe they're saving him for last to be symbolic or something....

Umm, he's not a staple of the franchise. You do know that Marth was released years after Hector/Lyn/Eliwood in the US< no?

Might I add that no matter how popular or how much of a staple you think Marth is, he really isnt. He's only known because of Smash half the time. Characters from FE that are recognized for their games sometimes are Lyn, Hector, Eliwood and probably Ike. Marth isn't there yet because not everybody cares for Marth. If they did he'd be up there, and he's not.

Thing is that it's not just the US that they are catering to. Kind of like how they released S!Catria since she's popular in Japan? Plus Marth is more recognizable to casuals who haven't played main series games due to his presence in smash, which does still count for something.

That's debatable. There's Ike, Roy and Marth in smash. The ones with custom chants ingame are Roy and Ike, no? Roys our boy, and We Like Ike. There's not Marth chant, and he's never been up there in smash if Im not mistaken. Like, Ike was the first hero because hs' the most recognized hero in the franchise, period. Not even Roy's gotten one yet, so I dont see a reason to go saying that Marth's gonna get a turn (on a green unit no less)

All fair points, but there's still time for Roy or Marth to get a legendary. We'll have to wait and see what happens. Mostly just had an issue with the insinuation that it's just the US that IS is thinking about. Marth is definitely infinitely bigger in a country where he actually had his games released. And an anime, but we don't count that.
