Oh the -ATK curse...

Storytime: I saved up about 250 orbs and still got some stashed from a few chain challenges and two Hard difficulty chapter maps. Since I haven't spent some orbs in a while, I decided to roll on the new Geneology banner and managed to hit the Quan (sorry) with decent IVs pretty quickly, only about 20ish orbs.

So I decided to roll on the Fates banner because why not (and the Muspell units don't really interest me atm) and got pity broken by Lene, who is -SPD, but it's salvageable for me since she is a dancer and I have better ones, a normal Lyn who is now merged to my +ATK one, and Ophelia has graced me with her beautiful appearance... at -ATK. Can't say I'm too upset with this since I got spared from getting Silas, but -ATK is the worse for her. Don't really plan to use her a lot, but what do you guys have in mind for her A-slot skill? I could give her Death Blow 3 since I have a lot of Kleins hanging around, but I'd like to hear some of your opinions.

At the end of the day, I have 83 F2P orbs right now and it's awesome how we are getting some quests tomorrow to get more orbs. Most likely going to skip the legendary banner too since I don't have intentions of spending on it unless Bridal Ninian comes by.

I was also blessed with a -atk IV on her (and on Flora as well). It hurts a lot and it sort of forces you to build around it. You can either go for a solo route with DB3 and glimmer or a 3 turn special if you are planning to pair her with a magic ally.

The other route is the LnD + AoE special. You want base stats here, because aoe specials don't take in-combat buffs (like death blow) into account.

I went for the LnD aoe strategy and built a team around her with two mages and a +6 attack buff, alongside an atk3 sacred seal. You initiate the fight by killing one unit and severely crippling the rest and then you can just clean up the leftovers. I like your build. I'll probably use this since she'll score decent with the new rally skill and AoE skill giving out a lot of points. Thankfully I ended up getting a Sothe while summoning so this worked out in my favor. Thanks!

It depends on which special you plan on giving her. If it's going to be Glimmer, then you should probably go with Death Blow. However, if you're planning on running one of those AOE specials you should go for Life and Death instead, since the extra base attack LnD gives is taken into account for the special damage, while if you use Death Blow it doesn't add the +6 to the special proc.

If it's just going to be mostly for use in Arena while she's a bonus unit and then later on for Arena Assault, she should be okay with just Death Blow and Glimmer. I'd recommend Special Spiral, though, since it allows her to permaspam specials(this skill just entered the game and is already top tier for many units lol), but if you're not going to use her too much then it's probably better to just leave Chill Res in her B slot.

I was originally going to Lewyn while summoning on the Geneology banner, but since he's so good, he's going to be on a banner soon and I could try my chances there if I need to. But yeah, if I get an extra copy of Lewyn down the line, I'll keep this in mind. Thanks for your input!

Hmmm, an "interesting" point. Well, I guess that 50 dmg overkills from a turn 1 aoe against +10 units in arena assault isn't enough then. Honestly tho, she doesn't have problems with dealing damage if you just give it a bit of effort and build a team around her turn 1 special.

Hate to break it to you, but I'm pretty sure Bridal Ninian will indeed be showing up in the next Legendary Banner. I've been analyzing IS's trends with those, and I'm fairly confident that these are the units we'll be getting:

Red: Legendary Ike, Bridal Tharja, Brave Roy
Blue: [New Legendary Unit], Spring Catria, Bridal Ninian
Green: Legendary Hector, Spring Sharena, Grima (M)
Colorless: Legendary Robin, Jaffar, Takumi

Obviously, none of those are confirmed except for the Legendaries, but I expect this to be pretty accurate. Iffiest one would be Male Grima; I think Rhajat might also have a decent shot at taking that slot.

You have a good point. That is a decent prediction list. I will be pretty bummed if Bridal Ninian does end up being in this month's legendary banner, but if I need to, I'll just wait 9 months until she comes back again lol.
