In my attempts to acquire Ayra, I instead sadly came upon another Eldgian, this time +Atk -Def. I already had a neutral one so which one should I merge, or should I just keep both?
I don’t have an Eldgian, but by looking at his stats, his draw is his Attack and Defense, however, working in a horse team, the Defense bane shouldn’t be too big of an issue. Work with the nuetral one if your using outside of horse emblem, and the +Atk/-Def if you are running him in a horse emblem.
I tend to use Eldigan in a mixed manner. Fury/TA, Axebreaker, Fortify Cav, Reposition, Bonfire. That way, he kills all axe units on player phase or enemy phase, as well as a lot of the green mages, while retaining good ability to tank physical units. But there's some versatility in his builds, so you could go for an enemy phase QR2/3 build w/Ignis, or run Swordbreaker.
