NY Takumi

Is New Year's Takumi worth keeping around or is his Atk/Res bond better to be inherited? I saw a fun Sanaki build utilizing her upgraded weapon effect and Atk/Res Bond, so I'm curious to try it out, I just don't want throw away a unit that might actually be pretty good. Thoughts/suggested builds for Takumi?

NY Takumi is super cute. I'm keeping him around even if he isn't a useful unit. If I had an extra copy, I'd be having the same thoughts as you.

I might just run Fury as the A skill to be honest, I don't think I actually want to sacrifice a seasonal unit that I might never get back.

I have a tendency to kee Seasonal units, so yeah its hard to say for sure.

Technically speaking, trading him off for a better build is supposed to be an upgrade, however his dagger in and of itself is an incredible weapon if he has the right IV's, so I would recommend u keep him for now incase we get Atk/Res Bond fodder soon. Since I have a feeling that the newest seasonal banner(hope its valentines) has some good units.

Well, I’d say you should keep the Takumi, but whether you fodder him or not is always up to you. His role mostly depends on his IVs. For example, if you got a +spd you usually build him offensively, for example Fury/Life and Death/Desperation while if you get a +res you focus on his resistance and him having a pretty decent anti-mage niche. I got two Takumis and both were +res -def, so I just kept Atk Res Bond and gave him Quick Riposte, and also refined Kagami Mochi for resistance. +spd Kagami Mochi works as well, since it allows him to avoid some more doubles. If you got +atk just go with an offensive set(except if the bane is speed), while +HP and +Def are his worst boons, but he can still be built around it.
