I'm asking for some advise to pick an archer, and NY Corrin looks very cool for me (His art) and How useful he can be in offense and defense
He's a strong enemy-phase wall if you give him Close Counter. He's not that useful in player phase because of his lower attack stat though - he's forced to get a lot of his damage from Bonfire. He's a solid unit overall though. He's tricky to merge though since he's a TT unit that therefore needs grails to get more copies of.
Here’s also another build that you can do with him. His final +10 stat line will be 43/50/41/38/17 so I’m going to recommend that you’d change the B-skill into Desperation 3 (I need fodders so that’s why I haven’t yet), but it’s not necessary because you can always change his weapon and/or refinement to full defensive and he’d still work very well.
If you want to +10 him good luck as it's going to be really hard to do so with the current amount of grails we get (may not stay the same).. Leon and Gordin do the same thing but are easier to merge, but if your heart is set on Corrin go for it.
I run 2 main sets on my Gordin which is BB, Bonfire, DB3/4, Special Spiral, Def/Atk Wave, QP with IP support. The other one is Slaying Bow +Def, Ignis(IP)/Bonfire, Guard/SS, Even Def Wave, QR. I've seen the guard bow set too and I'm unimpressed by it. For using his regular bow I dont really know too much about it but I think these are his best sets. They have the same stats so you can pretty much build them the same. Only question is whether you think his speed is worth saving (meh). I've also seen stuff done with Devil bow which may be worth giving a try if you can ever get it.
