NullFU Skill for Owain. Help meeee please <3
Note: Owain sits at 46 Spd with SpdBoon and SS
A Slot - DC
C Slot - AtkSmoke
Arena Build 1 - Wrath, Blue Flame, FlashingBlade
Arena Build 2 - NullFU (lol xD), Aether, FlashingBlade
Arena Build 3 - NullFU, Blue Flame, FlashingBlade
PvEBuild 1 - SpecialSpiral, Aether, Close Defense
PvEBuild 2 - Wrath, Aether, FlashingBlade
PvEBuild 3 - NullFU, Aether, FlashingBlade
Definitely, there are things wrong.
PvE2 is underwhelming compared to PvE1 since Owain can heal more HP with Aether on first hit rather than the remaining HP notably on low defense enemies.
It seems to be better than NFU on PvE case due to the above reason too. Even Wrath is better than NFU on PvE case.
Justification: PvE1 is the best out of the PvE builds and CloseDefense is chosen because he can mostly survive one hit from Mages and heal back but struggle against BoldFighter Armors with special bombs
and now, NFU is for Arena but after thinking for a while, Bonus Units would be the main priority killing things.
and I don't know if NFU is better than Wrath with Blue Flame in any case, even if it stops BoldFighters, WrathFlame can extinguish them back with a single blow.
What I need help is I don't know if I made these assumptions right. I feel like I'm wasting orbs trying to get NFU while I still have to save for DC and last Owain, including Special Spiral.
Is NFU worth it?

The thing is Owain doesn't survive handling L!Tiki and B!Hector on both phases.
but still, that questions me myself. Why the hell am I trying to make a Red Sword survive against top tier 180 BST Blues?
But still, I felt the urge to deny their BoldFighters and eventually kill them xD

The thing is that Owain can probably kill high tier +10 blue units if his attack was increased further. I have mine fighting blue units every chance he gets and Blue Flame deals a lot of damage, even more with Wrath. So much damage that a lot of blue units don't survive, even on defense tiles.
I've had him go up against a L!Tiki (wasn't paying attention that she had Bold Fighter) and he nearly eviscerated her with his counterattack, but she survived with a bit of HP left.
For someone like Owain, I think increasing his attack, and maybe his defense, is more important than speed or nullifying follow ups.

Mm, well, Null Follow Up can be useful on some units, so if you have someone that you use regularly to have the skill, then I say go for it, but if you're wanting the skill mostly for experimentation (aka you don't really know what you're gonna do with it) then I would recommend saving.

Null follow-up is really useful on other units. 3.5% is right at the edge where you could stop or you could try to claim your extra 0.5% + boost to favourable off-focus. Like, let's say half the off-focus blues are interesting to you, then on a 3% banner with three focus units of which M.Azurcorrin is one, then the starting rate of favourable 5* blues is 1% focus + approximately 0.33% off-focus = 1.33%. Right now on Adrift banner you're at 0.88% focus + approximately 0.44% off-focus = 1.32%. If you like more than half the blue off-focus pool you should probably continue until you get a focus unit.

Null follow-up is not good in PvE. There won't be enough units trying to force doubles against you. Special spiral is good; wrath can be good; potentially link skills might be good.
In arena I think the safest bet is just OHKO the opponent, actually. Works against units that are too fast for him; works against bold fighters if you can successfully OHKO. Wrath gogogo
In any case, there are units who need it more than him.
