Yes. It's not her "optimal" but it's still good and will help her tank magic.

But it can be useless sometimes because red magic is rare in the arena, although BIke's existence allow the single hitting ones like Sanaki or Lilina, and even Sophia to show up.

I wouldn't call it useless... +RES enables her to survive +ATK Deathblow Reinhardt and KO on the counter. +RES Nowi running her default skills (DEF +3, Threaten RES) survives with 5 HP (so 2 if -HP). In the same match-up Neutral Nowi dies. Granted, Fury would give her the same benefit but +RES gives her the freedom to pick any A slot.

Sidenote: If she runs Guard she can safely eliminate QP/Moonbow Reinhardt as well.
