Nowi +def -hp or +spd -res

Finally pulled another brave Ike, so I am eager to complete my nowi. Using standard steady breath, aether, guard.

Those who use Nowi, do you find +def or +spd more valuable?

Go with +spd if you want to avoid doubles.
go with +def if you want her to tank more easily.

IMO go with +def, just from the build It's kinda more suited for the +def than the +spd, another reason is because the +spd has -res and It will hurt Nowi's matchup against mages when she aleready struggles to begin with( not by much though)

From my observation if you are going for +spd then go with +spd -atk. with this she will be Special reliant but will not get doubled easily and double some units when she could do so before.

Why wouldn't you just go for +Spd -HP? You NEVER want to hurt someone's offenses, even if they rely on specials. Her base HP is pretty high already AND refine gives +5 to it.

To the OP:
+Def -HP imo. Those are one of the absolute best IVs you can get on her.

Depends on what buffs the team is giving her, but all other things being equal, +def -HP is better with that setup and QR seal. +spd -res is if you plan to push her spd with buffs to avoid getting doubled (which is what I do), eliminating the need for guard. I hear it doesn't work in high-tier arena; I'll have to switch to guard + QR for that specific situation. I can accept that.

I'm currently using +spd -res myself until I get +spd -HP. The superbane really does hurt.

My favorite is spd hp. I'd go with def hp over spd res personally. Both are some of the better iv's, but def hp is a better endgame option imo. If you really like speedy nowi and want to run her that way now, maybe you'd be better off with spd res
