Not sure If I should be happy or not...

On my last post, I mentioned that I was new to FEH and I managed to roll a Linde and Effie. People said that they were good so I decided to keep them regardless of IV's since I'm free 2 play and the chances of me getting another Linde or Effie are slim.

Later today, I decided to do the story quest to farm 20 orbs and pull for Ike while playing Overwatch and boom, I got an Ike but I'm wondering if he's good too? If you're concerned his IV's are:

HP: 17
Attk: 25
Spd: 7
Def: 8
Res: 6

According to the IV calculator, he is -hp, +res? Regardless, I think it's better than -spd/-attk that people are getting. Perhaps I'm wrong and I should just sent him home haHAA.

Mate- Any Ike is better than no Ike at all. Yes, his IV leaves a lot to be desired, but you can still give him longevity if you keep aether and heavy blade and then give him quick riposte. If you don't have quick riposte 2 then I suggest vantage 3, since that is pretty easy to get. With his legendary weapon, Ike will still make up for the bad IV you got.

Are those bad IV's ;(? I don't find -Hp to be a problem because I can easily put a sacred HP +3. I know that It isn't the best IV's but isn't that neutral/decent?

Yeah its not like he's -atk or speed or anything...he'll be a bit better vs enemy mages which will probably make him an even better unit to run on defense tbh. If a unit can't one shot him he'll hit back hard. Definitely put quick reposte 2 on him like above posted.

Since you're new IVs don't really matter. My first 5* summon was a Linde -Def +Res and she still does her job of killing everything. Only if you have millions of the same character floating around do IVs matter

Even with bad IV like -Atk or -Spd, Ike is still more reliable than pretty much all red lords.
