You support whoever you want. If anything, people just SS their favorite unit.

I'm actually not sure if they're simply "just ok". Anna has overkill Spd, and 50 Atk with Fury is actually pretty damn solid (maybe she could use Brave a lot better?). Alfonse can stack his weapon's effect with Death Blow 3, which is like a total of 11 extra Atk (and then you consider his best set in Brave with 35 Atk and extra +Atk Seal). Sharena's the only one I'm somewhat doubtful towards, and her weapon is apparently kind of cool in it's effect. A basic Fury + QR > 3-Turn cooldown is just kind of obvious and works.

I thought the same...now, about 7 months later, I'm sitting on about 100k feathers while searching for a unit to use them on. (and the last 3 promotions where just because of fun and not because I had an iinteresting unit) With many TTs and more Orbs to come, you will quickly be able to promote the starters as well.

Actually, I upgraded them pretty quickly as I feared to upgrade a unit, that I will summon as a 5* later anyway (didn't somehow ever happen until now).

I kind of barely use them, but I've been somewhat tempted to do a Quad Anna. I got a spare Brave lying around, so I might go for it someday.
