Congratulations,
you killed him with half of his HP, on Player Phase, with a Special, that doesn't get its damage reduced because it scaled of your raw stats (which if you use Bonfire or Ignis its already a near overkill against his current HP).

And now turn the situation around where it's Enemy Phase and has his Special up.

(Not meant to be mean, just stating facts.)

Surtr is probably the worst unit that came out recently (atleast for me) since his whole kit builds around "U wanna come near me? Fuck you then" I just don't like that.
The fact that he's armored too just keeps my anger high.
Happy that one of those monsters got killed.

But it is though. It means you're using tactics rather than plain stats. Gwen doesn't have a lot of attack, so her killing an armor with triangle disadvantage is really good.
It doesn't matter what would have been if he'd had his special or if it had been enemy phase, because it's not what happened.
Be proud.

Surtr is a unit much more deadly in the hands of the player.
If the enemy uses it, it's just a slow unit you can gang up on.

Meanwhile Hector can make his kills in the fights instead of needing a turn for all the out of combat effects
