Not FEH Related, Want Your Opinion

I only play FEH and Opera Omnia. I've tried a few others, but I dislike all of them! The last one I tried was Brave Frontier and it just... was so bad. How is that game popular? Anyhow, do any of you have suggestions? I just curious if there is anything worth playing.

As a joke I would recommend that harry potter app. I enjoy it besides the whole energy system and how quickly it goes then you have to wait. For a legit one uhhhh Pokemon Go? Its helped me walk more. Iv got nothing.

Only other app I have installed on my phone is The Alchemist Code but it's not very... That great. The unit promotions are really what's keeping me interested, but the UI is very cluttered and the combat isn't all that interesting.

Well, as someone who's played Gacchas for a few years (all the way back to Rage of Bahamuts shit TCG system) I can say that it depends per player. I played RoB because I liked the cart art, when that died out (pretty quick, I was a kid so it felt like moments), I tried another tcg (Deity Wars) and moved into another actual gaccha with characters who's name escaped me. I got frustrated in a few moments due to the stupid pull rates and lack of cool art and simply moved on. I tried Brave Frontier, and I liked it for about 15 minutes before wanting to leave. Same can be said for most gaccha's (Azure lane is one I wanna try, hear it's good). As of late, my most recent ventures were FEH (Which I love for many a reason), FGO (Fate Grand Order is good if you are okay with 1 percent pull rates, with 100 percent 5 star rates but only if you use paid quartz for specific banners, IE Bullshit with good story), and the newly released Dx2 (based on the Shin Megami Tensei line of games, huge fan of the series, but the game felt bland due to the series being about grinding out demons with an endgame story that is captivating with choices, and that games has you pulling for demons instead of actually getting them. And it's currency seems pretty asinine)

In short, I imagine that there are and will be games that will strike your fancy. FGO is a good game, don't take my word for it. If you enjoy the Fate series or are curious, I recommend it. Good story. Simply don't spend a dime, and don't expect anything, ever. Like, take your first free 5 star and be happy with it for life. The Dx2 game seems fun but I've yet to delve into it further than the first two hours, but it already seems, shallower, than FEH at launch (which is hard to believe, I know XD) Simply put, look around for games that may interest you, or are from franchises you love or are curious about. Just, try not comparing them to FEH, quality is hard to come by in most Gaccha games, and it's the few games like FEH, FGO and a save few others that I keep hearing about (that are japanese only) that are doing their best to stay afloat and to appease the fans.

I used to play puzzle and dragons obsessively. Like i actually had to lock myself out of my account and do a hard quit because it affected my work performance and kept me from engaging with my family.

I downloaded it again and I still like it, but it takes a long time to get to the point where dungeons are actually tactical and cerebrally challenging. Less time now that the game is 5+ years old. It's definitely worth a bit of your time (not as much as I gave it 2 years ago), if you don't mind a little bit of level/resource grinding while you figure out how to maneuver the puzzle grid. Gameplay is simple on the surface but when you stop thinking of it as a match 3 and start looking for ways to clear the entire board, set up matches, etc., it gets astoundingly complex and challenging. Every single match is like a mini Rubiks cube, except that you only have 5 seconds to solve it. And at higher levels of play there's an added layer of "puzzle within a puzzle" while you try to meet certain trigger conditions to beat bosses, like moderating your damage output or not matching any of a specific color. Can't just shoot for broke every time or you will lose.

I also have super Mario run (paid version) installed on my phone and it's good.

I also recommend hoplite but it's paid.

If you ever were into SNK/ Capcom older arcade style games like the classic SNK series Metal Slug, they have a great tower defense game called Metal Slug Defense in the exact same style/look and graphics of Metal Slug (actually they used all the units' sprites from the majority of the series), its not gacha so you know what you're earning to unlock and it's fun and easy to play. They made a newer version called Metal Slug Attack that's supposed to be more detailed with customization but I never bothered with it because I unlocked almost everything in the first one through earning (and some bought, not much) and the servers still seem to be running fortunately

My favorite mobile game is Terra Battle. It's grid-based combat like FEH, but you move characters by dragging one character with your finger to pull allies into place before a turn timer expires. My favorite thing about Terra Battle is that you can remove characters from the summon pool by grinding them to max (or pulling duplicates to max) so it's possible to eventually clear the entire pool. That's a very unique feature in mobile games. I've returned to FEH after a long absence because I'm basically finished with TB now.
