Because 2.0 had it and it was needed,and its needed again because the 5 star locked pool is filled with shit that has no business being there.

The last batch of demotions to happen was not for the 2.0 update, but 5 months later on the 2.5 update. If they do demote more units, it would reason to belief that they would again happen on a later update.
