Oh please let that happen. Nintendo turns Animal Crossing into a survival horror, no one saw it coming.

Who's dying in FEH? Other than Fjorm. (Didn't the end of book 2 imply she would die soon?)

There’s a theory going around that the summoner might die, seeing as Kiran means light. My angst loving brain is sort of hoping something happens to everyone but Sharena, causing her to break down like we saw in the video. It has to be more than just Fjorm dying to make her that distraught.

But ... the player is the summoner. They can't kill the summoner without totally breaking the concept of the game. Which isn't to say they won't do it, because plot developments being fundamentally flawed hasn't stopped games/shows before.

Not sure it will really mean anything if they do kill someone, since they killed Gunthra and yet she's still summonable and usable. And since most of our units aren't recognized in the story, there's not really much connection between the story (shallow as it is) and our actual gameplay.

I really doubt Luigi will stay dead anyway. I could be wrong, but I feel like this is a "no one ever really dies in comics" situation.

My theory is that they HAVE to kill the summoner so they can introduce custom summoners for people to create. "Kiran" dies only to bring forth a new evolution of himself "from another world". Then the old summoner will likely end up being a summonable hero.

That would be weird, but I could see that being the gameplan.

What could happen is not a character that dies, but Askr.
Or more like, a big destructive event, maybe one that kills the parents of the Askr duo.

It might not have a big impact for us, but that could provide character development for Sharena and Alfonse.
Plus maybe we get another version of them after they grow as characters.

I'd rather have something focussed on the characters we know, than introducing yet again two whole new factions and shoving know characters aside again.
