Working on +10 merging my first unit in efforts of making serious moves toward tier 20. I'm thinking Nino should go 1st because:
Been a day 1 unit/beast in all content
Awesome IV (+spd/-hp)
Already a head start with +1 merge
(Most dupes rn with two 4* and two 3*)
My nowi and tiki are both +atk/-hp but I only have 1 extra tiki and 3 extra nowi to merge atm. Also are those IVs their most optimal or +def or other? Because I already refined their lightning breaths to +def in order to balance their atk boons. Still saving my extra warding breath for hopefully a last minute Hardin summon on Thursday but if I fail would it work great on a res boon dragon?
Nowi has a fairly flat stat line, so any boon will do, it depends what you want her to do. Mine is +spd-hp, but +alk would be good.
For A! tiki +atk will help fix some of her relatively poor offence, her defence is already good, so I’d stick with what you have.
Edit: Warding breath will work well on any dragon anyway, ignore The resistance gain on defence - it’s main function is the cool down charge it gives.
Adult Tiki typically wants +def-spd, her defense is outstanding and her speed is trash so QR will be depended upon, although an attack boon is perfectly fine since she will be able to tank most enemies as is.
Nowi can run a variety of different IVs. I’ve seen speed boons reach 40 speed with some SI, defense is a solid choice to let her tank more, and attack is never bad. Her best bane by far is HP, because res is a superbane. It’s completely up to you.
Nino is always a solid choice. Pick one and start building, you’ll like the end results.
Edit: as for your warding breath question, much like what Angel said, the charge accelerator is what you want, not so much a concern about the boost, although it does give you a boost while fighting other dragons.
Warding breath on tiki? She currently runs def+3 to have a base 42 def but I could go warding breath/aether with her QR. Also my nowi works great with TA Sword breaker already. If not there's always Fae but that'd mean moving Grima to armor emblem which I wouldn't be opposed to and you guys already saw his build haha.
