...or is this a common trick?

It's just for Healer-SP grinding (obviously not EXP):

- just using the lowest Training Tower level
- using a fury unit without a weapon (Ryoma in that case)
- having a healer, which you want to upgrade (Elise, which I just drafted and got to LVL40 and want some more SP for) next to him and also without a weapon
- trapping yourself so that your unarmed units can't flee thus mixing up the setup again
- having someone with a weapon being blocked (Effie) so you can later finish the map
- BK is just there for fun (and for blocking purposes) and didn't bring his weapon

The fury unit gets some damage and is healed every round...again and again, while using auto-battle. That's 2SP (today and tomorrow) every few seconds for doing nothing.

Isn't that great idea?

Now it works...BIke is the new Effie but with Swap to make it out and finish the map.

LOL....just realized, that not only the EXP but also the SP are being capped.

Well this has certainly been quite the journey of self discovery lol

SP grinding for healers is by far my least favorite thing about FEH. You’re definitely on to something here. Because you only get 8 heals per map though, I’m not sure of the value of auto battle. Gotta give this more thought though.

I’ve been using a weapon-less tank and doing the training maps but man it just takes forever to kill units and requires so much micro management.

There needs to be staff valor already.

the best way i find raising SP for my healers is spending most of the SP for getting the weapon refined to either wrathful or dazzle. if wrathful just try to get as many kills with the healer on the new armor unit training map, if u get dazzle give her or someone else double savage blow and chip them down enough to where healer can kill. plus with all the free blessings given out u can make them gain 12 sp per kill on double sp days rather then trying to gain by healing.( u can heal while killing as well). with both wrath and dazzle healers have a much easier time picking off enemies unlike the past

I think you might be on to something, though. Have you tried this trick out on the Special Training maps? The SP cap seems to be much higher there.

You won't be able to set it to auto battle literally all day, or anything, but it could be worth a shot. I might try it myself, in fact...

Just have to be careful not to get overwhelmed by the reinforcements, lol.
