Next Legendary Hero

With the screen shot of the new acrylic figures, who do you want/ think it is? I personally hope it is Veronica, as it would fit the story that she defects. I also don't know if there is a legendary release pattern , such as oc,oc,mc,mc ( oc is original character if you didn't know; mc is main character).

(Just to clarify the one for May is Lyn)

Just want your thoughts on this, as I personally tire from not having new oc unit in the game.

Hope it's Omega Yato Corrin. Ike would be going down after this one, I would think. And Corrin needs a push.

Yes, he really does. At this point, he is by far the worst lord in the game, and if you use him over most other swords, you've done something wrong.

I will agree that he desperately needs a refinement, but that last bit I'm going to have to disagree with.

Apparently 'preference' isn't a thing that a lot of the FEH community appreciates, let alone can define. There's nothing wrong with using Corrin if you want to use him. There are builds that makes him usable. -.-

So, you interpreted my statement (which I admit was worded weirdly) as me saying that Corrin is completely useless? I did not say he was completely useless, I meant that the resources you would have to pour into him are really not worth the end result. If you want to build a Corrin, more power to you.

I doubt there are many people who like Corrin enough to make him good. If there is someone who is reading this and really like Corrin, please, please explain to me why. I cannot stand him, and from my point of view, he is definitely not worth the effort.

Can you really blame me for interpreting your comment as such? Saying that someone choosing to use Corrin over other sword units is "doing something wrong" when, again, it's up to preference.

As far as using resources to make him good, that's also up to preference. There are a lot of people that have spent resources to make Corrin 5* +10, just like how people make Odin 5* +10, or Lon'Qu, or Selena, or Felicia, or Sophia. It's not really about what you find to be worth it, it's about what the individual finds to be worth it. He's really not a bad unit, and I certainly like him more than, let's say, Ike.

Do you have to be such an asshole all the time? I've only ever seen you talking to someone on this site in a condescending manner, and it's really not cool. It's possible to have a conversation without insulting someone. I don't really have the time or the ability to word my comments so they appeal to every single person on this site. I already explained that what I meant was that Corrin was not really worth the effort of the investment. I said, "If you want to build Corrin, more power to you." I don't care whether or not people actually build him, I was simply stating that he's not really worth all the effort.

Seriously? Corrin over Ike? Ike is a far better written character than Corrin, who in every single path makes stupid decisions that lead to a lot of people being hurt. Ike is a hero, Corrin is simply a whiny brat who doesn't know what he's doing. Seriously, Conquest is probably one of the worst storylines I have seen in any form of literature.

Wow, that came completely out of nowhere. An asshole how? What did I say to warrant such a reaction, and what have I said to other people to be considered as such? In no way, shape, or form did I insult you.

If me saying that I feel like I'm losing brain-cells over comments like that is me being an asshole and insulting, then I really don't see how, and I don't talk to people in a condescending way. Many people on this site have the tendency to talk about how Unit A is absolute trash compared to Unit B, and how you shouldn't waste your time, or if you're not using the most optimal skills then you're, again, wasting your time. I put in my own two cents so that way people that actually see those comments know that efforts are not actually wasted if you truly take the time and like the character.

But since I'm always an asshole and condescending, I'd love for you to provide some examples on what I've done so that way I can correct any and all misinterpretation, or miscommunication.

And yes, I like Corrin over Ike. It's just my preference. I don't like Ike, I find him boring. Am I completely in love with Corrin? Definitely not, but when it comes to liking one or the other, I'll take Corrin. It's just preference. I really don't see what the big deal is.

And really, I've see far worse in terms of story. Conquest wasn't good in story, that's true, but people are seriously over-exaggerating when it comes to how bad it really was. But, again, up to each individual.

I use the term "asshole" because you have a really condescending tone, and I doubt you even realize that. It's okay, it's really hard to predict how people on the internet will perceive your statements, but as I see it, your tone is extremely insulting and condescending, but only once you disagree with someone.

I already said, If someone wants to build a Corrin, be my guest. They can build him however they want, I just don't see Corrin as being worth my time
and resources.

Personally, Conquest did not have a single redeeming quality storywise. I skipped most of the lategame cutscenes. If it wasn't for the great gameplay. It would be my least favorite FE game in all aspects.

One such example that (to me, at least) seems a bit condescending is this: "Why didn't you wait until the banner info was released before summoning for Hinoka?" This wasn't really a productive thing, and the guy was pretty upset already. Another such example is "....Are you asking if we think it's the best B8 banner, or are you saying it's the best for you?" I know you played this one off with a "lol" but to me, it was unnecessary in the first place, and worded badly without answering the question, and just felt a little haughty.

I have to apologize to you as well, My comments were a bit heated, and many a gross overreaction on my part, so I'm really sorry for the way this discussion went.

What comment are you referring to? I made a lot of them, so I'm not entirely sure which one you misinterpreted.

"Why didn't you wait until the banner info was released before summoning for Hinoka?" - It was a genuine question. It wasn't condescension or mocking or anything. Just a question. In fact, in that very same post, I answered what they were asking for, which was how to use what they received (answered by making them into a mage tank).

"....Are you asking if we think it's the best B8 banner, or are you saying it's the best for you?" - Because the post said something akin to "Best Legendary Banner Ever?!?" Question and Exclamation, so I didn't know if they were asking us if it was the best, or if they were stating if it was the best for them... hence me asking. Don't really know how else I can word the question since the questions I'm trying to get answers to is literally in the question itself, and I didn't answer the question because I didn't even know if it was a question to begin with (and I never went back to actually see).

Wasn't being haughty, or condescending, or tooting my own horn. They were simply direct and forward questions that I wanted answered.

If you go back and read most of your messages in the past, what you call “genuine question” and “question and exclamation” most people call “words of a condescending asshole”. You have a tendency to make yourself out to have a superior opinion over others, which makes people not like you. Poofinator was the same way. And when he tried to bring that into my discord, he was criticized for the same reasons. You want questions answered? There’s a way to not come off like that, and you fail miserably at doing so. Ask many people who used to be here all the time, but now are almost exclusively on my discord. They will tell you the same thing assix and I are saying right now.

Words of a condescending asshole, again, how? I make my self out to have the superior opinion? In what, saying that all units are not trash, and even bad IV'd units can be made into good units?

If I want questions answered, then I have to not ask the question? I literally asked two questions and am told that I'm insulting and condescending, yet they were only two questions.

My opinion is not the law. Morality is the law. Attacking others for their opinion is wrong. And I will admit, 2 wrongs did not make a right, and I did jump the gun here. However, when he refuses to acknowledge that maybe he needs to tone it down, I will not apologize for what I believe needed to be said.

well, Krazytre is harsh sometimes, i can't negate that, but at least he answer the question that people puts in this section.
Not everybody is in "your" discord, so they need a place to their doubts and Krazytre have answered a ton of doubts in the last weeks.

Uh, yeah, you are. Ask anyone who used to be here. From Steffychan19 to a7xjoker33 to AngelSeras and about 50 others, it’s a consensus that you’re just another one of life’s unappreciated assholes that words things in a way that makes people not like you. Just ask Poofinator, he caught his fair share of backlash for the same reasons. You read things how you want them to sound when they are really meant in a different way. And then attack others for that. So yeah, people like you should just stay away from places like this altogether, I think that’s what Poofinator decided. So go ahead and follow suit, you won’t be missed.

To be fair Corrin isn't actually the lord or loedstar class and at no point in fates is mentioned to be. He/she starts out as a nohrian prince/princess then based on which game you play becomes either a norhian/hoshidan noble class or use a heart seal to change it entirely.

Well, he is nonetheless the main lord of his game. Ike, in Radiant Dawn, started as a hero (I know he was a lord in FE9, so don't flame me) and became a Vanguard. He was still a lord. Micaiah too, she never had the lord class, but was still one of the game's main lords.

He definitely needs a refinement something like +4 to all stats when initiating,but i dont think he's the worst in the right hands he can be amazing its just he gets overlooked due to constant updates and new characters.

I thought they were using Veronica's winning the CYL 2 as a way to have her defect? It seems a bit odd that they'd make a Legendary Veronica when they already know that she won CYL 2.

I wouldn't mind if it's an original character, in fact I'd want an OC more than an already made one, especially since already made characters are getting alts left and right these days. Wouldn't mind it so much if they gave units w/out alts (Marth) a Legendary Hero alt, but one can only speculate what Intelligent Systems is planning.

That could work for Veronica, though generally I feel that it might work if she was an ally before she got an alt. Also I really want pantless Marth with thighs to rival Hawkeye and Lyn.

She might be a legendary hero at some point or a grand hero battle etc. But I really doubt they'd give normal Veronica for CYL, I can see a lot of people getting pissed if they gave normal Veronica out instead of Brave Veronica.

Brave units are always different from the regular variant, at least going by the first CYL. Veronica has always been a Green Tome Infantry unit, so they wouldn't put her as such for CYL 2.

That's not to say, however, that they wouldn't make her into something like a Blue Tome Infantry, or a Green Tome Cavalier.

Yeah, she would probably be released for free or as a legendary unit prior to her brave alt. On that note, Do you think she might be a mounted unit? there was some speculation that the Brave heroes would be based off of their siblings given how all of the winners had one ( Uther, Bruno, Conrad, and Eirika). It could happen as a theme, much like how the previous CYL winners were based off of their parents.
