So with all the talk about how the next banner might be a gen 1 Genealogy banner, it got me thinking back to when people were and are still predicting that Genealogy of the Holy War might be next in the FE remakes (besides Binding Blade). So I want to ask, out of all the FE games that haven't gotten remakes yet, which do you personally want remade?
I myself want either a Genealogy or Path of Raidiance remake because those two I'm the most interested in playing for the first time. Besides Radiant Dawn, but I can easily find that for the Wii someday with some luck.
Genealogy because I know literally jack about it and am intreged since people say it's the best FE. Which I can certainly see why, from the little I've seen about it, it certainly looks like the most unique FE. Hell, imo most of the characters in that game don't even look like they're from FE, so I'm very interested.
And PoR because people say that it's also one of the best FEs. I can see them redoing the voice acting (especially since some pretty important characters have staple voices now from Heroes), redoing the graphics and battle animations, ect... And let's not change the difficulty too much, I hear that PoR is one of, if not, the hardest FE made (Or is that Raidiant Dawn? I get confused on which Telius game people say is harder :/) So I want to get the full PoR challenge and experience in some great remade HD.
What are your picks?
The hardest one is Radiant Dawn (the sequel of PoR) since its hardest difficulty is actually JPN Maniac. No weapon triangles :') For the remake part though, I only really want Genealogy because it's the only FE game that I've never finished. I've tried to play it but the outdated gameplay kinda kills it for me. It is really good though, so if they're able to capture the essence of what makes Genealogy great, I'm definitely gonna play the remake.
The Jugdral games only if:
1) They don't censor the crap out of it. The Jugdral duology is dark. Maybe take out the r**e references/undertones (or at least find a better way to put them), but leave the other stuff in.
2) They don't pull an Echoes and actually make changes to the gameplay and supports to better flesh out characters.
If it's implied or not explicitly shown, the children sacrificing might not have to get censored. The incest might be a bit more tricky since it's a plot point, though. And as Shield said, an M-rated FE game might not be so bad now. I don't think the incest would warrant that rating, but depending on how they show implement the sacrificing, they could probably get away with a T.
