Next Build project?

Hey, so with the release of Hardin, I feel like my Effie just doesn't see much play anymore, I prefer my hardin in almost every single way. Because of this I wanted to fodder away my effie (+1 with berkuts lance+ and dc) to another unit. The problem is that there are soo many units I have considered and it has now become a bit ridiculous, so I'm going to make a list of what i've considered:

(note: A big part of this consideration is merge potential, therefore newer 5* only aren't being considered)

*The stats below are at +10 to get an idea on end results

1. Masked marth (48/52/38/27/21)
+ good synergy with refined weapon
+ should be expecting more merges soon
+ good mix of utility and high bst for arena (healing, green mage check)
+ +5 merges atm
- Cant inherit Berkut's lance
- Lowish res

2. Shananana (44/48/39/37/33 +def -hp BL+ def) 158 BST
+ inherit berkuts lance
+ Have a bunch of Shanna
+ 3* availability
+ Don't have any decent blue Fliers with bulk
+ good user for guidance
+ awesome defences
+good spd
+good bst
- bad att

3. Donnel (49/53/33/43/27 +def -hp BL+ def) 162 BST
+ inherit berkuts lance
+ Have a bunch of Donnel
+ 3* availability
+ High BST
+brilliant bulk
+awesome att
- acceptable spd
- res is slightly low
- already have nowi which does the same job but better

4. Lukas (54/53/23/42/28 +res -spd BL+ res) 157 BST
+ Have a bunch of Lukas
+ awesome bulk
- bad spd
- locked at 4*
- after res investment, it's still on the somewhat low end, low spd = mage doubles
- already have nowi which does the same job but better

5. Peri (41/51/40/34/34 +def-hp BL+ def) 154 BST
+ inherit berkuts lance
+ +1 merge atm
+ Decent mage counter and ok def bulk
+ Don't currently have a decent blue calv tank
- Locked at 4*
- Low BST
- Bad calv treatment from IS

Those are the main contenders, I have also given a bit of thought on units like gwen, Jagen and abel. I would love to get other peoples opinions. Finding it really hard to decide atm. Of course I could also just keep effie and try and merge her more as well, but I really don't enjoy her atm.

I wouldn't waste Berkuts Lance, we don't know how many reruns we get, and we will most likely get more units with DC, but theres only one Berkut. So I'm cutting Masked Marth, The Donnel and Lukas(should really be a pure physical tank engine in my opinion)

Shanna is the best one for Berkuts and DC on your list in my opinion, however I would really recommend Gwendolyn, she is awesome as a mixed tank with DC.
Also if you want a blue horse tank, take a look at Mathilda, she is a great mage tank.

On a side note you could just keep Effie for AA.

Do not fodder off your effie to any unit there are many reasons why but the most obvious is that Your effie has rare skills and if you fodder one rare skill then the other rare skill will be lost so I recommend to not fodder off your effie. She's still good even if hardin is better in some ways and She is easier to merge than hardin so in the long run she'll be better than Hardin(unless you're a whale or really luck that you got 11 hardins.)
