Next +10 project: LONQU

Hello, when I finish Eirika and Seth, I will mergue my Lonqu. I know THEY ALL are RED UNITS but I love them and I build who I love. And Lonqu, I just love him <3

Possible builds: +Attack-res

Weapon: Slaying Edge (+spd/attack) / Wo daw (+spd/attack)
A: Fury 3, Life and Death, Death Blow
B: Desperation, Vantage
C: Panic Ploy? (he gets 50 Hp after refinn), Infantry Pulse

What do you think?

Don't think an attack refine is worth it... even on Lon'Qu, it's only a +2 attack increase, so a speed refine is probably more worth it.

Have you considered Brazen Atk/Spd 3? With his speed and HP, he'd have enough HP to survive an encounter (provided they're not with Vengeful Fighter/Quick Riposte).

I have this one +10 Lon'qu in my friendlist, who has a pretty interesting build, maybe that helps you. But I don't have any experience with him, so I won't give you any advises from myself. Good luck though, he can be pretty good!

I agree with Krazytre that the speed refines are easily more worth it than the attack ones. With that said, Slaying edge might be slightly better than Wo dao if you are going for the desperation build, because one attack would charge your Moonbow and the second (desperation) hit would blast it off.

The A slot is kind of flexible in his case I'd say. LnD is good, because his defenses are already kind of low and his hp is sky high (54) which would enable him to survive a single hit of 75 physical damage or 72 magic dmg, which is kind of impressive. He will easily survive the first combat encounter and then he can do his desperation thing. With that said, the same can apply for reasoning towards Brazen atk/spd which would leave you slightly weaker in the first encounter, but it would make you considerably stronger in the following ones. Your choice there, but both of these options seem equally as viable to me. Fury is kind of meh.

I just started building my own Lon'qu build, and here's what I'm planning on running. +20 damage on a Moonbow Proc along with a decent Atk stat (could switch the refine for speed, but for the most part he won't need that much speed, or even for more defense), great speed and enough bulk in his HP stat alone to keep him alive to proc his special.

Jaaa go for it, if you really love him to bits do it

But I'd be looking for him to get a prf. Anyone else think he'll get one?
