New year hrid build review

I was just playing around in the simulator. Was thinking of how to best use new years hrid kit with some skill inheritance. He seems best as a physical duelist/support unit. How's the build? Any suggestions and advice appreciated.

Atk refine is always a bad option imo. I would rather give him a Spd refine instead of ever going Atk.

In this case I'd go for a Def refine > Atk.

Hmm, since he is a flier would you consider investing into his speed? Speed seal/quick riposte seal/close defense with chill speed/ quick riposte/renewal b slot. With hone/goad support he could get fast. Fury seems like a safe choice in a speed version which appreciates all stats.

Heavy blade seems good if you have buffs, but his res is too high for me to ignore

Ya his iv, refine and buff availability should guide his direction. Luckily bad res superbane won't matter if he's+1 with the merge update. Unfortunately haven't come across any kleif for fort def/res. He is confirmed to be on a two person banner with clarine so maybe it's a sign?

Mixed wall mode is wow... soo much room to play around with thanks to his bst/kit. Could change his sword but chill attack on a weapon is great and what's hrid without debuffs. Could switch the c to attack smoke/ flexible c skill. With the res investment he could even utilize ploys here.
